Historic cottage nestled in the woods on the border of Arkansas and Missouri. Built in the late 1800's and located on an exotic ranch in which American Bison, Elk, and Red Stag can be seen roaming nearby. Guests will have full access to the house during their stay, along with limited access to various areas of the property; including walking paths, ponds, and creek front which are shared with our Bungalow guests. Access to catch and release fishing ponds, kayaks, and bonfire area.

The space
The Cottage was built in the late 1800's and has all of its original charm but with the addition of extra bathrooms, central heat & air, TV with DVD player, and an updated kitchen.
The fully equipped kitchen has a stove, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster oven, and microwave. We also supply dishware and utensils.
There is no WIFI and extremely limited cell phone service. AT&T does not work here. However Verizon and T-Mobile and Sprint do work. Please take note of this before your stay. We understand that great cell phone service may be essential to you, however, due to the remote location of the property it is not possible at this time. We encourage our guests to unplug, enjoy your company, and soak up the beautiful surroundings.
Linens, towels, and additional blankets are also supplied. Fire places shown are just for looks.


The house has three stories

Main floor:
-Bedroom with twin bed
-Hallway Full Bathroom
-Bedroom with Queen Bed
-Bedroom with Queen bed and attached bathroom with standup shower

Top Floor:
-Hallway Full Bathroom
-bedroom with 4 twin beds
-two interconnected bedrooms with door (room one with one double bed, room two with one double bed)

Bottom floor:
Kitchen, Living room, and dining room.
Full bathroom with standup shower.

Guest access
The house is nestled in a secluded, wooded area surround by two ponds. There are numerous walking paths that will be open for use, including a path along Big Sugar Creek. Catch and release fishing is also allowed on our private ponds. Rentals for fishing rods, kayaks, e-bikes, and firewood for bonfire are also available for an additional cost. Please inquire if interested.

Off-limit areas include anything under high fence, the entrance house, pool area, cabins, barns, and tennis courts.
Although you have exclusive access of the cottage and outdoor area, other areas of the property are shared (ie ponds, creeks, large lawn areas, bonfire pits).

Take note in regards to the limited cell phone signal and lack of wifi along with no use of fire places within the home. We want to make sure that the home meets all your needs and expectations so please send us a little note about yourselves and why you’re coming.

*this location is on a rural farm and we do have gravel roads. Please do not plan to drive a sports car or low riding vehicle.

Perfect place to really unplug, be in nature, and enjoy the company you’re with!

This cottage is located in a very remote location. This is the place you come to take a break from the busy world and enjoy all that the Ozarks have to offer. We highly suggest that you grab groceries or any necessities you may need on your way out to the cottage before your stay. If you do need to go back into town we are only located 25 minutes from Downtown Rogers and 32 from downtown Bentonville, Arkansas.
