Relax in cozy yurt fully equipped with wifi, cable tv, private bath & outdoor shower tucked in wooded setting overlooking small waterfall in nature's paradise on Powder Mill Pond and Contoocook River. Hike, Swim, Fish, Kayak, Canoe, Paddle boat. Private fire pit. Hot tub. Eclectic dining, 4 golf courses, shops, breweries, skiing all nearby. Just outside of Peterborough in Southern New Hampshire, only 1.5 hrs from Boston or 2.25 hrs. from Hartford in legendary Monadnock Region.

The space
Our cozy yurt experience lets you take time, getaway and enjoy what nature has to offer to the fullest, right here in your new 27 acre backyard. Enjoy swimming, fishing and exploring the pond and the river without ever leaving the property. Canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats are on site and can be rented for a small fee. Paddle to the island for a picnic lunch, watch the locals jump off the railroad bridge, cool off on the 30 ft. lily pad, share stories, roast dogs and s’mores at the fire pit, have cocktails by sunset in the gazebo. Take out the complimentary bikes, go for a hike, read a book in the hammock or just simply sun and do NOTHING! Our getaway is one of 10 unique accommodations that are located by the water or tucked in the woods in the legendary Monadnock region, just 40 minutes away from Mount Monadnock, the number 1 climbed mountain in the world, with 40 trails and more than 100 breathtaking mountain vistas!.
No matter what the season, there are plenty of outdoor recreational activities for you and your family to enjoy, but the area itself is also world renowned for offering so much more! Discover a rich arts community, unusual shops, eclectic and farm to table dining spots, antiques, live music and theater, historic landmarks, architecture, and ongoing fun activities unique to the region! Enjoy 9 or 18 holes of golf at one of the 4 local golf courses, sample craft beers or hard cider at the local breweries, visit any one of the area’s gourmet shops specializing in artisan cheeses, homemade ice cream, or decadent hand crafted chocolates.
Explore the surrounding towns, where during season, you can pick your own fruit from local farms, sample fresh apple cider from the cider mills, or enjoy maple syrup from the local sugar shacks.

Enjoy a yurt experience any time of year! Be it summertime fun, or spectacular fall foliage, or a winter wonderland of skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and ice skating. Cross country ski or snowshoe right from your doorstep. Just 5 minutes away, Downhill ski or board at Crotched Mountain, open most weekends until 1am. Or Sunapee is only 45 minutes away! Pat's Peak, is just 25 minutes away, for ski or go snow tubing until 10 pm.
Our property is right on the snow mobile trails which you can ride for miles, or to the nearby infamous Alberto's Restaurant. Have fun, be active, relax or just be free...enjoy the simpler life, serenity and privacy, a romantic respite, an off the grid experience, a taste of "glamping" or just hassle-free vacationing!

Reserve the Yurt NOW and throughout the year! And if you are traveling with another couple, you may also want to book the fully equipped Tiny House, tucked into the woods around the corner. For larger groups, looking for a truly unique experience in the heart of nature's wonderland, there are a number of special accommodations for you and your guests throughout our 27 acres of wooded and waterfront beauty. (Some exclusively during the warmer months)
Consider the Teeny Tiny House with your own private dock or reserve one of our 3 classic vintage campers, our boathouse and guest house suite set right on the pond with a private diving board and slide, a private safari tent with a wood burning stove set on the river.
