  • we loved staying at silvio's place. It was so lovely and spacious and also very comfortable. A real treat as the location was incredible. The area was noisy at night but this did not bother us as it was Rome and the nights sounds were full of life and people having fun. The location is fantastic and as far as I am concerned the best area to stay in. We loved just walking around the area and found it very inspiring and restful. Silvio was a very nice guy and came around to talk to us. He was warm and friendly and made us feel welcome. Thank you Silvio.

  • We had the most wonderful stay in Rome thanks to Silvio's apartment. It made such a difference not being in a hotel and he is the most charming host.
The apartment is full of comfort and all the required items to make your stay perfect, we ate out most days but had breakfast at the flat which made was an ideal situation.
A simple short walk from Campo Di Fiori made the location perfect for us.
Silvio was kind enough to make a recommended place to eat that blew our minds, it was truly one of the best meals I have eaten.
Thank you Silvio for making us so welcome I promise hen we return we will stay with you again, Rome will never be far away from our hearts!

  • Silvio and the Apartment Trastevere-Campo de' Fiori were fantastic and an excellent way to finish our trip to Rome. Silvio was fast to respond to our initial inquiry and all of our follow-up questions. Our trip to Rome lasted 10 days and our stay at Silvio's place was the final few days of our trip. We wanted to stay in a different part of town - right in the middle of things, and this place was great.

The apartment is located right off of the Ponte Sisto walking bridge that connects Trastevere district with the Campo de' Fiore district. We walked everywhere and explored both sides. I wish we had more time at this apartment because I feel like there was so much we didn't get to in the time we had. Next time, we will book longer for sure. We walked to the Vatican. We walked to the farmer's market and Pantheon in Campo. We walked as much as we could. The location is excellent. If you need to get to public transportation (we did not use any), you are a long block or two away from the #8 tram and that can take you to many of the cross town buses and metro system.

The apartment itself served its purpose. Our group of 7 was probably the max amount you would want to have stay there. The one bathroom was manageable. We only used the kitchen for breakfast and light snacks but it had everything you would need to cook up a bigger meal. There were so many good restaurants and cafes nearby that we felt we just had to eat out. You should be aware that the apartment is located in an area that is extremely social in the evenings. Many of the locals gather on the piazza right across the street and they stay there late into the night. You will get a lot of noise from the late night revelers but we just considered it part of the experience. If it was a trade-off for the location I thought the noise in the evening was worth it. There is a washing machine (no dryer), wi-fi and individual air conditioning units in each of the 3 bedrooms and 1 in the main living room area. If we had all of them running at the same time, a fuse would trip and they would all shut down. Silvio is aware of the issue and I am confident he will have that fixed right away.

Speaking of Silvio, he is a great host! The flexible check-in policy allowed us to get into the apartment early on our day of arrival to his place. He loves meeting people and sharing with them his passion for his city. He was very helpful in arranging our departure transportation back to the airport. Even though we had to leave early (7am) Silvio was there to help check us out. While the rest of my family was slowly getting organized, Silvio took me to have a quick coffee with one of the local policeman and the driver for our airport transport. It was certainly a unique way to end our trip in Rome.

Thank you Silvio. It was a pleasure to have met you and stayed at your apartment.

  • Top Treffer!
Vielen Dank, Silvio, & alles gute.
