Young's bnb was just what needed. Away from city life, it's more of a boutique bnb in the orchards. Her home and family are very nice people, felt warm and peaceful.
Room was great, spacious, very clean and better than most hotels in Korea. Young also went way and beyond my expectations as a host. Offered to make breakfast and +more.
Suggest to hire a car, about 40kms from airport and a car is what you need to get around in Jeju.
Overall, highly recommend Young's place.
The place is simply awesome! Despite we took quite a while to look for place, but we find it all worthwhile after the 4D3N stay! Young engages with her guests really well, and she prepares sumptuous breakfast to make sure we starts the day well. It was very enjoyable to interact with her every morning, and she is very generous in offering us her freshly harvested tangerines just at the back of the house! And of course, the room is very spacious and clean.
We will definitely stay at her place again the next time we visit Jeju to hike Mt Hallasan! :)
Awesome Jeju BnB was a magical experience. There's not a better host than Young. She made me feel completely at home, cooking wonderful food, including me in a gathering she had of various artists to her home, and overall being very available to make sure I was all right. Awesome Jeju BnB is in a more rural part of Jeju, away from the tourist hotels. The room was spacious, clean, peaceful and tasteful. I traveled alone to Jeju, not entirely sure what the experience would be like, and though I was only there for two days, it will stay a lifetime memory. I can recommend Young's Jeju B&B highly for the independent traveler who wants an authentic experience a little away from things.
Young's place is tastefully decorated. Totally love the New England style. The room is big for its size and with bathroom. Area is relatively near to the museums by car. Lovely breakfast in the morning.. I would recommend her place.
Young made our four night stay in her B&B very special. She and her sister, Joo, were gracious hosts who made us feel like family. They cooked us delicious breakfasts, serving homemade marmalade that was made from the B&B's orchard. Young was very helpful in giving us travel tips and even showed us how to use our Korean GPS. The rooms were very quaint and clean. At night we could hear wonderful bird sounds not heard at home.
We recommend her B&B for those travelers who want to experience the quiet and charming countryside of Jeju. Our stay in the B&B was totally "awesome."
Thank you Young and Joo. We miss you already.
If you wanna stay in a tranquil and calm place, this is your option. I stayed three days and it was a nice experience with the nature(tangerine farm). It's a little far away from the centum so you have to rent a car if you want to enjoy the jeju island. Mrs. Young and her sister were nice to me, so I appreciated all of their help.
I am in hooked on tea now!!! Every part of our stay here was comforting --I felt as if I were visiting a family member's house. Young is accommodating, adventurous, and a phenomenal cook. I still have daydreams about her eggs. This is one person and place you have to visit during your stay in Jeju. It is recommended to get an international license and renting a car, but we were able to use the bus to get to our destination. Traveling around the island is easy and Young will provide you with the number of a cheap taxi service. Located on the westside with much to do (don't miss out). Also I hear her orchard will blossom during the winter (don't book it before I do)!!!!! Cheers.
Young's place is lovely, peaceful and very comfortable. She's been very generous on the breakfast too. We took the bus everyday and sometimes took a taxi back whenever we've missed the last bus to her place, the taxi drivers usually give her a ring to confirm her location and Young had never failed to pick up and got us home! Once she even picked up a call from a driver when she was at her important graduation ceremony as an accomplished female diver. Jeju is a beautiful place and staying at Young's was really worthwhile.
Young was amazing!!
Coming home to let us check-in early, was such a kind thing to do!!
The room and house were wonderful, with spectacular views!!
Young is a delicious cook, and I could eat her breakfasts everyday!!
She was so accommodating to our schedule that it was very helpful!
This is a great location to many tourist attractions including a wonderful beach!
We will have to come back when the tangerines are orange!!
Thank you so much for having us!!
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice get-away on Jeju!!
Young offered great hospitality and kindness when we stayed at her place. The room was neat and cute, and her cooking was excellent. My friend and I had the opportunity to go with Young to the Open House of a coffee shop that her friend had. We had great time to get to know each other more during the party dinner. Young and her friend also helped my friend buy green tea for her mother. Young always helped us with a smile. The only thing I think Young should do is offering to cook lunch and dinner for travelers because there is no restaurants or shops around to buy food if you don't drive. As a traveler, it would be great to buy sodas, water bottles or snacks from her even though she offered us tea, juice, water and other things. Overall, Young is a wonderful host that I would love to see her again. We miss you, Young!
