Home is on a quiet, lovely street in one of the most desirable close-in SE neighborhoods in town. One block to public transit; 6 blocks to great coffee (Albina Press) and drinks ((website hidden)); minutes to Mt. Tabor Park, Hawthorne or Belmont, by foot or bike. Plenty of on street parking, directly in front of house.
My goal is to make your stay comfortable and hassle free. With a separate entrance to the apartment, you are able to come and go as you please. We do ask that you use common courtesy in regards to late night noise, as our neighbors are our friends, as we'd like to keep it that way :).
We are an active, health conscious family, and have a very strict no smoking policy. Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside or outside of our home.
We provide receptacles for garbage, recycling and compost and ask that you follow some simple guidelines in separating your trash. We will also provide you with some great guides/resources to local shops, restaurants, public transit and arts and entertainment. I'm available to answer any additional questions or address any issues that may arise during your stay. Other than that, we're looking forward to meeting you!
Polite hostes. Location is easy access to downtown and local attractions. Highly recommend this B&B, Thank you Dina!
We enjoyed our stay in this well-equipped, pleasant apartment located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The entrance is in the backyard but easy to access and well-lit after dark. We had transportation provided by our son, so we can't speak to the walking experience, but by car it is fairly close to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops.
Our trip was wonderful! Dina responded to our email inquires very promptly. The apartment was very clean and spacious. When we first got in it was COLD. But the heat came on right away and there was a space heater, but we rarely used it. I was SO happy to see that coffee was there! After driving from California all we wanted to do was crash and knowing that we didn't have to go out to get coffee was lovely. We loved all the available parking and the location was perfect for us. There was not much sound barrier and we were able to hear everything above us. We were in town to conduct business so it wasn't a big deal. But if you wanted to sleep in, it would have been very very difficult. Also having the wifi available to us was great.
Dina's place was immaculate. She provided everything I needed. The location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again...hopefully soon.
Dina was a wonderful host! She was flexible in letting us drop off our bags before check in. The space was exactly as pictured and was the perfect place to land after a long day of eating, shopping and walking. It's not super close to public transportation from downtown, so be prepared to rent a car or walk a lot :).
Dina is a great host! She was easy to reach and we could get settled in as soon as we arrived. The place is amazing! Superb location and everything you need.
The house itself is a little bit noisy but it did not bug us at all. We expected it to be a lot worse as you stay in a basement connected to the main house.
TIP: if you like dogs make sure you say hi to her pup! :)
We would def stay here again when we come back.
Wonderful location in one of Portland's best neighborhoods. A must-stay for fans of the Mt. Tabor area – Dina's home is located in a cozy, but accessible part of Portland. It's minutes from Mt. Tabor Park (gorgeous!) and dining/coffee/nightlife options in Hawthorne and Belmont. Overall travel time from Dina's flat to basically anywhere in PDX was minimal – whether by foot or car. Parking options plentiful for those with a car. My fiancé telecommutes and said the wifi was great.
Perfect accommodations – I would stay here again and again.

I'm a creative professional and the mother of two fun-loving kids who has been living in Portland since 1995. After spending a decade in New York CIty, pursuing a film and video career, I was lured to this city by the natural beauty, lifestyle, arts & culture and the other like-minded folks who've made Portland their home.
My time is spent juggling the joys and demands of work, my kids, my dog and good friends. I'm a creative and inquisitive soul who loves art and culture, outdoor adventure, good conversation and great friends. I adore this great city and look forward to sharing my intimate knowledge of Portland with airbnb travelers.
