  • We had an absolutely wonderful time staying in Dina's flat in SE Portland! Public transportation was easy to navigate to and from her home and the apartment was so adorable and comfortable. Everything was super clean and welcoming upon arrival and it felt very private. I had to take an online midterm over the weekend (yes, during vacation, unfortunately!), but we had fast running wifi so I was very thankful for that amenity.

Although we hardly crossed paths, Dina was an absolute gem and made sure to check in on us each day via airbnb to find a time to say hello, and to ask if we needed anything. I wish we had more time to chat with her and wish we had planned to stay longer! If we return to Portland, I will definitely plan to stay at Dina's again. Such a wonderful first experience with Airbnb - Thanks, Dina! :)

  • We had a great stay at Dina's place. The entire apartment was very clean and had a nice feel to it, and it gave my husband and I had plenty of space to spread out for our week in Portland. Even though we didn't take advantage of it much, having a full kitchen was quite nice. Since we were road tripping around Oregon, we also loved the free and ample street parking. The surrounding Mt. Tabor neighborhood was cute, safe, and walkable. Dina recommended some local food carts (Fried Egg I'm In Love was a particular favorite) and the EXCELLENT Tabor Bread just a few blocks away. We'd definitely recommend this place!

  • Even though I'm from Portland, I needed a place to stay while my house was full of out-of-town guests (my husband's friends). I was so happy to find Dina's place! The flat was very clean and Dina was very kind to come by and ask how everything was. The neighborhood is absolutely delightful to walk around, and there are tons of food options close by. I really liked that I could leave in the morning and walk around, and then come back in the evening and eat dinner in the backyard. Having a full kitchen was important to me because I knew I didn't want to eat out for every meal and I wanted more than the hot plate some apartments were offering. Overall it was a great experience and I liked having the chance to get to know another Portland neighborhood.

  • Our stay at Dina's was fantastic. The apartment is absolutely beautiful. We wanted to live there. Dina was such a great host; she was so accommodating with our luggage, was really friendly, and made sure we were comfortable. The location of her place was perfect. It was short walking distance to great restaurants, the bus stop, a drug store, everything. We couldn't have asked for a better space. We loved coming back to the room every day and talking about all of our awesome experiences in Portland.

  • Our stay at Dina’s could not have been better. She made everything very convenient and comfortable. Very prompt and open in communicating and certainly relaxed and flexible. I think anyone looking for a place to stay in this neighborhood should consider Dina’s place. We enjoyed the clean comfortable and relaxing environment of this Mt. Tabor Private Eco-Friendly Flat! A special mention, I left and item in the flat without realizing it and Dina when the extra mile to make sure I got it back! Certainly will contact Dina the next time we come back to the Mt Tabor area.

  • Great location, nice clean place with everything you need and nothing you don't need. I like to exercise and it was convenient to jog over to Mt Tabor park. Good value for money spent.

  • Im worried about my next AirBnB experience. I am afraid this apartment could be a tough act to follow. As far as Im concerned, Dina's apartment sets the standard for a straight foward vacation spot. Dina's private space couldn't be any more comfortable, practical and enjoyable. This is an ideal setting for a close encounter with the charms of the Northwest, and especially Portland, OR.
My wife and I revisited Portland after moving away about a year ago. We were excited to find a space that is nestled in the Mt. Tabor area, which is quiet yet central to many SE landmarks. The view of downtown and the west hills was a bonus to friendly neighbors and short distance to Mt.Tabor park - essential Portland destination. We were able to prepare meals in the kitchen before we took quick cab rides, bus trips and easy walks to our favorite haunts in Rose City.
Our only regret is that we didn't spend more time is this pleasant and well equipped little nest. Thank you, Dina!

  • I am speechless regarding the hospitality and graciousness we felt from Dina during our stay in Portland. The apartment was beautiful and in a prime location for pretty much everything Portland. We had our own entrance and parking was never a problem. Please if you stay in Portland for business or pleasure, contact Dina you won't regret it!! There is no doubt where we will be staying during our next trip out west. She greets you openly and warmly which makes the stay even better! Thanks Dina for making a space in your home rich with tranquility.

  • The great ice storm of 2014 greeted us upon arrival to Portland on our latest trip south. Thankfully we booked with Dina and were welcomed into the warmth of her Mt. Tabor hide-away. Despite the snowy conditions her place was very cozy and we were quite comfortable.
A great location in an area of PDX that we had yet to explore.
Our dead car meant lots of walking around this beautiful neighbourhood. Dina went well above and beyond the usual call of duty for an Airbnb host lending us her car to search out a new battery, and although we came up empty handed that day we really appreciated her kind and trusting gesture.

Thanks again Dina for a lovely stay.

  • Comfortable and clean in a great neighborhood. It's exactly as pictured. Easy parking in front and relatively close to market, food pods and restaurants. Definitely would stay there again.

I'm a creative professional and the mother of two fun-loving kids who has been living in Portland since 1995. After spending a decade in New York CIty, pursuing a film and video career, I was lured to this city by the natural beauty, lifestyle, arts & culture and the other like-minded folks who've made Portland their home. My time is spent juggling the joys and demands of work, my kids, my dog and good friends. I'm a creative and inquisitive soul who loves art and culture, outdoor adventure, good conversation and great friends. I adore this great city and look forward to sharing my intimate knowledge of Portland with airbnb travelers.
