Mario and Paolo were very great hosts! Mario manages the reservations remotely, but he is extremely responsive. His brother Paolo greeted us with a plate of fresh fruits 。The apartment is very clean and extremely cozy with a nice Florentine theme. It had everything we needed, including a washer dryer and wifi. We could not believe how close the apartment was to all the sights we wanted to see. Everything was in walking distance. We really couldn't have asked for more for our first time in Florence. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Mario and Paolo are excellent hosts! We enjoyed our visit to Florence immensely! This was by far the best apartment that we stayed in during our trip to Italy. The apartment has been beautifully decorated and is extremely comfortable. Awaiting us in the large kitchen on arrival was a table set with wine, fruit, and lots of other goodies. Everything that you need is there as well as the extras like soft fluffy towels and bathrobes. The location is very central and the apartment is filled with books and magazines to guide you and keep you informed about Florence. We walked everywhere and appreciated being in the midst of history in this gorgeous old palazzo!
Our stay at this apartment is amazing. We were well taken care by Paolo who is a brother of Mario. First, welcome by fruit baskets, pasta ingredients and fridge full of drinks for free! He also has someone helping us with all the luggage.
The location is amazing - 10 minute walk to Duomo on a quiet street. We feel very safe there walking back at 11 PM. Also, convenient location to grab a cab as it is steps from San Marco piazza. The furniture are new and luxurious - even had full amenities in the bathroom which is unexpected! The place is spacious with a full italian kitchen! Also lots of sun light from the floor to ceiling windows.
Paolo was also very professional and provided all the details we needed e.g list of top restaurants / things to do near by.
We would definitely consider staying in his place again next time when visiting florence.
Paolo will do a personal meet and greet upon our arrival. He will also go around and show us the different corners of the apartment. He is friendly and approachable who even answered our enquiries over text messages. The apartment is awesome with the necessities equipped. It is clean and quietly tucked in a prime area. Bed linen is clean and towels nicely provided in the bathroom. A huge and neat kitchen is comfortable for cooking. A great host and impeccable apartment, what more can we ask for?
This apartment felt more like a home rather than just a place to rest one's head. It is stunningly decorated and the attention to detail far exceeded what I had hoped. The location is perfect being situated in a small neighborhood close to a local market and only a short walk to all major points of interest. Mario was very helpful prior to our holiday answering all questions and making recommendations. Paolo was extremely welcoming and accessible during our entire stay providing assistance when needed. I highly recommend this home without reservation and hope to return soon!
If you relish the idea of staying in a 15th Century palazzo in Florence, within walking distance of all major sites, and with cordial hosts and lovely amenities, then Mario's apartment is for you! We stayed for a week and were thoroughly pleased: the apartment is everything represented in the description -- and more, because of the thoughtful and welcoming hospitality of the hosts. Mario and his brother, Paulo, were quickly and helpfully responsive to all of our communications; and they clearly strive, by furnishing both expected and unexpected amenities, to ensure a delightful stay. The living room and loft bedroom are well-designed, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The baths are modern and well-stocked with robes and towels. And the large kitchen features not only the basics of cooking and serving equipment but also welcoming wine, strawberries (in season!), coffee for a Nespresso machine, milk, water, snacks, and the ingredients for a pasta dinner! This is a great place in a great city, and we would certainly choose it again in the future.
