The Grey Whale Inn is an old historic 1948 Inn, set in a quiet residential neighborhood on the very south end of Cannon Beach.

Our units are small but cozy hypoallergenic rooms.

Quick and easy access to the beach, a minute walk down the street from the Inn.

10-15 min walk to Silver Point
30 min walk to Haystack Rock

The space
This is a very small, basic single room. Perfect for those who are always out and about, and just need a place to lay their heads and clean up. The room also includes a smart TV with HBO Max already set up for entertainment, for those times when you need a break before stepping out again on an adventure.

Other things to note
Elk come onto the street and up close to the rooms every once in a while, so be mindful when stepping out.

My family has owned and operated the Grey Whale Inn for many years. I grew up in Cannon Beach helping out with the Inn, and have always enjoyed the quieter, less crowded side of Cannon Beach to write, draw, animate, or just relax.
