The apartment is located on S.3rd & Bedford Avenue - which is the beginning of the popular Bedford Avenue Strip. It's in the quieter end of it so you will enjoy the benefits of this busy neighborhood in a quiet space.

You'll be half a block away from great restaurants, bars, shops, food markets, etc.

The apartment is 5 minutes away from the L train on the Bedford Avenue Stop, one stop to Manhattan and 5 minutes from Union Square. The L train will take you from the East side to the West side connecting you to all of the major subway lines in NYC.

It is also located 5 minutes away in the opposite direction from the J/M/Z lines. These lines will take to the center of the Lower East Side, Chinatown, City Hall, Wall Street, and Fulton Street which is a 7 minute walk from the South Street Seaport. The M train will take you directly into Midtown.

  • I stayed with Lulú for 8 days in June-July and could not have asked for a better experience!
Not only was the place a home away from home, but Lulú was an amazing host who made sure I was always comfortable, happy and informed.

She helped me out with negotiating subways/maps/ galleries to even taking me out for ice cream on the high-line!
I highly recommend Lulú s abode, to both solo travelers (as I was) and couples looking for something a bit more personal and fun!

  • We were very happy with our stay here. Locationwise we had no idea that we are so close to restaurants, bars, shops etc. Awesome! And the apartment was perfect. The guest bedroom fits 2 people plus luggage just fine and the living area is spacious and very lovely decorated to make everyone feel at home immediately. All rooms and bathroom were very clean and everything looked just like in the pictures. What I really liked from the first contact with Lulu was that she responded to all my mails and questions super fast and very friendly and made me feel welcome from the beginning. I can only recommend to stay here when in NYC.

  • I had a good stay here and would recommend it. Like the others have said, it was warm, cozy, and clean, and both Lulu over email and the live-in manager Constance in person were really nice. The apartment is in a great location, right off of Bedford and close to most places you might want to check out in the area. The apartment is in a typical old Southside Williamsburg tenement building with its usual mixture of longtime, mostly Latino residents and new hipster ones. The building itself is kind of falling apart, and you will encounter a few quirks in the apartment like the others are describing: no sink in the bathroom, somewhat rusty tub, thin walls. But honestly, that's a typical part of living in Williamsburg, and the coziness and cleanliness of the place, its location and the niceness of both the host and the live-in manager make it worth the stay.

  • This is a great place to stay! I loved the location, such a lovely area and the apartment is really well equipped, great kitchen and plenty of space. The bathroom is small but clean. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Great location in Williamsburg near the subway. The apartment is cozy and nicely decorated and maintained. The facilities of the place were in good condition and we were able to use the washing machine and kitchen for free. The room is quite small but big enough for the two of us for our 2 week stay. The bed however is not that comfortable, a bit old and bumpy. The bathroom is good enough with an old (somewhat rusty) tub. During our stay, the whole apartment was cleaned once a week by a lovely cleaning lady. The building appears old, does not have an elevator and every now and then you can enjoy the smell of the lower neighbours' smoking. However all in all, a very good value for the money, great location, nice apartment and the other people staying in the apartment were very kind.

  • Very cute and clean appartment. Everything was as described in the ad. Great location, close to two different subway stops in Williamsburg, Both Lulu and Constance are very nice, so the reservation process, check-in and check-out are easy. Good place to stay if you want to explore both Manhattan and Brooklyn.

  • Lulu and her roommates were excellent hosts. They even stayed up late to welcome us and give us our keys when our flight was delayed. The place was very clean and cozy. Bedroom was small but had more than enough room for our bags and a double bed. We also loved the area and would highly recommend this spot to anyone who asked. Thanks for a lovely stay!

  • Lulu's place was just so convenient to everything we needed! I was visiting NYC with a girlfriend. It was a trip filled with exploring, friends, and definitely a lot of food. Lulu's was less than 10 minutes from 2 major subway stations, less than 10 minute ride into Manhattan. But why go to Manhattan when you have plenty of establishments steps away along Bedford, and not to mention 3 blocks from Peter Luger! Heaven.

Back to the apartment. We stayed in the guest room. There are 3 bedrooms total, one of which Constance lives in. The other room had another airbnb couple, so 5 of us total. There is only one tiny bathroom, but it surprisingly was never a problem. Everyone had different schedules I guess. The only weird part was that there was no sink in the bathroom, so you have to go wash up in the kitchen. But not a big deal. Everything was clean and cozy. The bedroom was just perfect for 2 girlfriends. Plenty of space for a couple days worth of luggage, shelf space, and a small couch to chill and take a breather. The bed was also good for 2. We are smaller girls, so it was perfect. We were also never around more than an hour between activities and just at night to sleep. But the living room, kitchen and dining areas were spacious and seemed inviting, so it would be good for longer term stays or travelers that won't eat out every meal (unlike me). Just be courteous and clean up after yourself as the place is tidy and cozy. We also didn't run into Constance or the other guests much in our 4 night stay, but we never had any questions as everything was clear and easy to navigate.

Overall, I would stay again next time I go to NYC. Thanks for the awesome time!
