About This Listing
This flat is only a minute walk away from the "harbour park" in the lively and captivating area "Islands Brygge", a wonderful and upcoming area near the city center,On bike it's 5 minutes away from the absolute city center, and the metrostation is five minutes away walking. The beautiful Copenhagen University campus is also very close as well as a big wildgrown park "amager fælled". The area has many cafées, shopping opportunites and you can buy groceries nearby as well. The lovely beach is only a few stops away with the subway as well.
The flat is built in the old tone of copenhagen flats and newly renovated. It's very light and 63 m2 and has bathroom, kitchen, a bedroom and a big living room with canapée. The bathroom is small (like in all the old copenhagen apartments, but it has shower etc.)
There's internet in the flat. You can do the cleaning yourself/yourselves if you prefer, when you leave, but otherwise there's a cleaning fee of 60 US dollars.
I hope you have a nice and enjoyable time in Copenhagen!
Great apartment: good value for money, convenient location and pretty spacious for a one-bedroom place. Four of us stayed there comfortably (one on the couch, two on the double bed and one on a really good inflatable mattress). Søren was very welcoming, fast to communicate and flexible in terms of arrival/departure, etc. The only negative comment would be about the slightly awkward & small shower but that is a common and mainly unavoidable feature of Danish apartments from what I understand. Anyway, would definitely recommend this place!
Great location, close to the centre but just far enough to be in a quiet neighbourhood. Good restaurants and bakery in the area. Bicycle rental around the corner and close to bus and metrostation. Large enough for 3 people although the bathroom was very small. Good for a citytrip.
The flat is fantastically located for going into town and in a great neighbourhood with good shops, pubs and restaurants. It was clean, bright with simple furnishings. We were welcomed by søren's mother and he was good enough to drop us at the metro when it was time to leave.
Nette Unterkunft, tolle Lage, spannendes Wohnviertel, sehr netter, unkomplizierter Vermieter. Innenhof für Kinder toll, Kommunikativer Treffpunkt.
Excellent! Apartment was well equipped and very quiet in a friendly neighborhood with small shops and restaurants.
We rented bicycles, (which is recommended in Copenhagen) and then the apartment is only 2-5 minutes from ALL major attrations. Sören is a very friendly and patient host that answered all my questions and made perfect arrangements.
About the Host, Søren
Hi Everyone. I am an easygoing guy, who lives with my girlfriend, Amalie, here in Copenhagen. We are outgoing, and like sports, music and parties. We are students at the University of Copenhagen, where we study Comparative Literature, and hope to get a job afterwards that will put our degree to some use. We like to travel as well, and have spend a year in Germany and Italy respectively, but are also fond of Copenhagen and Denmark, and hope you will like it as well. At the moment I work at a café, and Amalie works as a journalistic secretary at a magazine.
