2 bright double bedrooms and an airbed in the livingroom of a cozy apartment situated on Pembroke Road, one of the city's oldest and finest Georgian Streets, today part of the quiet and exclusive Ballsbridge suburb.
The apartment is exceptionally luminous, features two double bedrooms, one of them very large, the other one spacious enough, both with king size beds, a retro inspired decoration and a nice, spacious wardrobe which makes this listing ideal for small groups or families.
An airbed can be placed in the livingroom to host an extra guest if necessary.
The large window in the bedrooms faces Pembroke Road in the heart of Ballsbridge, a safe, quiet and well-serviced neighborhood.
The apartment is cozy and nicely decorated with a vintage flare, is fully equipped (see amenities section) and its two other inhabitants are just a couple of normal folk in their mid thirties.
Car traffic, while never dense, may cause a bit of noise in the morning or at night, but it's never too noisy.
The apartment has a bathroom (electric shower and sink), and a rest room with toilet where the boiler and the washing machine are found.
The living room is also very bright, has two couches, an armchair, TV, and an integrated, open plan kitchen with high table equipped with stools for informal meals.
Wi-Fi is available in the entire apartment.
You will have access to the whole apartment.
Help yourself at the kitchen to tea, coffee, toast, jam, fruits, etc.
You will have plenty of room in a cupboard, available just for you.
Ballsbridge owes its name to the bridge that can be found only a few minutes walk from the apartment and was built by one Mr. Ball. Historically, Ballsbridge was part of the estate of the Earl of Pembroke, which used to encompass other neighboring areas.
It's an oasis of quiet just a short walk from city center. Despite its residential character, Ballsbridge is home to many of the embassies established in Dublin and has busy cafés, restaurants and shops.
The Royal Dublin Society (RDS), Lansdowne Road Aviva Stadium, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and the rail and bus connections are within walking distance.
Across the road is "The Den" pub (at the Landsdowne Hotel), starting point of the 'Baggot Street Mile', a pub crawl which is also known as the ‘Twelve Pubs of Xmas Crawl’ and consists of having a pint in every pub ending at the O'Donoghues (Merrion Row) or The Horseshoe Bar (Shelbourne Hotel, St. Stephen's Green).

Javier and Gosia'a place was brilliant, and looked exactly like it does in the photos. The place is easy to find, on a major road right by all the embassies. There's plenty of places for breakfast just down the road, and the city centre is only around 15/20mins walk away. I can't express enough how lovely the hosts were, and made us feel extremely welcome.
I recently attended a conference in Dublin, and stayed with Javier. The room was clean and comfortable, I didn't spend much time with my hosts but they were friendly and very helpful and I would recommend them. It is a 20 minute walk into the centre of Dublin so very convenient.
It's wonderful to stay at Gosia&Javier's. The room is cosy and perfect for two. It's a 20min walk to the centre of Dublin. The apartment is located at the embassy quarter near good pubs and breakfast options. They welcomed us warmly and recommend the highlights of Dublin.
Javier and his partner were excellent hosts for our stay in Dublin. They were extremely welcoming and gave us some great tips on the area and had a very in depth knowledge of the city. The had also taken into consideration our interests and pointed in the direction of places that would suit us best! The accommodation was traditional and very comfortable, and the location was perfectly situated for access to the city centre - all walking distance! We would love to stay with Javier again when we next visit Dublin.
Javier & Gosia are excellent hosts. I had a wonderful time. The place is really nice and comfy, also the neighbourhood is great. I can definitely recommend!
Staying with Gosia and Javier was great! The apartment looks exactly like on the pictures, the room is very bright and overall it is such a special experience to live in a typical Dublin georgian house. The area is also great - one of the best in Dublin. Gosia and Javier made me feel very welcome and at home in their place. They also gave me good recommendations for exploring Dublin and it was always a pleasure spending time with them.
I enjoy travels, gigs, movies, books, antiques, street art and football. I live with my other half, Gosia. Our favorite destination: anywhere is warm, beautiful and has good food.
