My mother (75) and I (45) spent a delightful two weeks at Chez Noeleen in this picturesque part of southern France. The house is beautiful, both inside and out and it is clear that Noeleen loves her gardening. We spent much time in the pretty courtyard under the wisteria and grapevines twisted around the pergola.
The house itself is light and roomy, well equipped and within a short walk to the village centre - boulangerie, patisserie, pharmacie, doctor, supermarket, pub and restaurants. Parking our hire car was never a problem - in the centre ville or near Chez Noeleen.
Noeleen was most welcoming and helpful. She has a bubbly personality and made us feel at home.
The location of this accommodation is excellent for getting around to the outlying points of interest - Capestang, an artists' haven, is a mere 5 minute drive away; Béziers is a 30 minute drive; Caracassone about 45 minutes; and Narbonne is only half an hour too. If you wish to travel to Spain, it's only a couple of hours drive south.
Chez Noeleen comfortably accommodates 6 people over 3 levels - 2 double bedrooms on the top floor (one with ensuite), one bedroom on the second level (together with a large bathroom) and the living area & kitchen on the ground floor. There are laundry facilities on site.
We highly recommend Chez Noeleen and can guarantee you will enjoy your time in Puisserguier.

A visit with my sister. The house was just as nice and lovely as described. Noeleen is a very kind and caring landlady.
We would love to stay there another time.
We had a lovely visit in Noelleen's home. The home is quite nice and she was very accommodating as she is right next door in case you need anything. When we arrived we found that Noelleen had even left us some croissants, marmalade, coffee and other items to welcome us. The kitchen has been renovated and there is a good selection of cooking supplies. There is a charming backyard with a dining table under an arbor. The bedroom was very comfortable. While there is not that much to do in Puissergier, it is well located as a base to explore the region around Beziers, Narbonne and the canal du Midi.
This is a great location to explore the superb scenery of the Languedoc. Noeleen is warm and welcoming. We had a fabulous time. Thank you Noeleen!
My best friend and I stayed at the wonderful winemakers house for a week this summer. From the first communication, Noeleen was helpful and interested, going out of her way to make sure we had everything in place for our holiday. We were very excited by the great pictures on the ad, and were not disappointed. The house is charming, and fully equipped with everything you need. The garden was the best bit, secluded, peaceful and so pretty. We spent many an afternoon reading, drinking wine, and snoozing in the sun! A great spot to explore the region from, but also a great place just to chill out. Noeleen has a passionate interest in wine from the region, and would be happy to recommend trips to vineyards, and her favourite tipples! Thank you so much for a wonderful week, we needed a rest, and came back so relaxed. Perfect!
We spent two weeks and we were very happy with the Old Winemakers House. Noeleen made us very welcome and was very helpful. The garden is very pretty and a lovely place to sit and read or enjoy a meal. Beds were very comfortable, lovely bathrooms and kitchen well equipped. Lounge chairs for five and English satellite TV. Walking distance to village with all shops, cafes etc. we definitely recommend to friends and family as a great property from which to explore the region.
We had a fantastic week at Chez Noeleen. The house is clean, bright and spacious - exactly like the pictures. There were just two of us staying but there would have been plenty of room for a family or group of friends. The outside space is particularly nice - beautiful with plenty of room to eat, drink and relax.
The location was ideal as well. It's quiet and relaxing but has a few bars, shops and places to eat within a 5 minute walk.
Noeleen is very friendly and welcoming and lots of fun. She was very helpful in recommending places to visit and was even kind enough to take us along to a local vineyard and a couple of wine tastings.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chez Noeleen. It's perfect for a relaxing break, especially if you're interested in wine.
We spent almost 3 weeks at Noeleen's and enjoyed it very much.
The house is spacious and comfortable, with 3 bedrooms and a large bathroom. We had 2 couples of friends (with kids) visiting during our stay and there was enough room for all of us.
Puisserguier is close to many nice places to visit:
Large towns: Narbonne, Montpellier, Carcasson.
Smaller villages: Saint Chinian, Capestang, Serignan.
In Serignan you have a beautiful beach. In Puisserguier, Saint Chinian and Capestang you have great wine tasting and wine yard visits.
Noeleen is very welcoming and helpful. We certainly recommend her beautiful house for nice and calm vacation
Nathalie, Peter and baby Inès .
We stayed at Noeleen's charming house for three nights whilst on a motorbike tour in France. Noeleen greeted us warmly on arrival and had generously left a bottle of very good rose in the fridge. She is a bubbly, charming hostess full of good information, and very kindly let us use her garage to park our bike. The house itself is immaculate, beautifully furnished, well-equipped and situated close to the centre of town. There is also a very pretty courtyard garden although sadly whilst we were there it was quite cold so couldn't spend much time there. We would have loved to stay longer but other accommodation had been booked. Thanks for everything Noeleen and hope the ballet was good!
Our stay at "Chez Noeleen" was extremely pleasant (we were a group of 5 people)! The accommodations were clean and the amenities were accurate to the listing described on airbnb.
Noeleen is an absolutely wonderful host - welcomed us with open arms and smiles - as if we were family. Throughout our stay, she was always available (i.e., emailing us tips about the local farmer's markets, answering questions we had about the apartment, etc.).
The best part of the apartment was the kitchen - fully equipped with enough room for several people to complete different tasks, simultaneously. Bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors -- so if you don't like stairs, this may not be the place for you (but my 60+ year old parents seemed to be just fine.) The weather was on the cooler side when we vacationed, otherwise we would have taken greater advantage of the backyard sitting area - which is extremely charming.
We would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a getaway in the south of France! :)
