We had a great time staying Chez Noeleen. Thankyou Noeleen for the delicious welcome fruit , wine, and homemade jam! The house is very traditional - lovely tiled floors throughout and wooden shutters. Beautiful views from the upstairs rooms. The garden is lovely too and the vines were harvested during our stay! It's a good base for visiting the area, especially for canoeing on or swimming in the Orb at nearby Roquebrun, and boat trips on the Canal du Midi. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The town has a great bakery and there is a wine cave round the corner! There are day and evening markets in the towns around as well as in the village itself on Fridays. Noeleen was very helpful, and on hand if we needed to ask about something, but also didn't intrude at all. We certainly hope to visit again.

Noeleen was an extremely warm and welcoming host. The house is really spacious with a sunny little garden at the back. It's in a good location for accessing the mountains or the coast. Not a huge amount in the village, but nearby Capestang and St Chinian are both bustling.

Noeleen was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The television had many English speaking channels and the main bathroom was huge with an excellent shower. There was free on street parking outside the house and there was a small supermarket and bakery just a few minutes walk away. There are two bars in the town but unfortunately the only restaurant was closed. However there are a number of bars and restaurants in nearby Capestang (on the Canal du Midi) which is only five minutes drive away. We really enjoyed the beautiful, secluded garden which was very private and ideal for eating out - especially in the evenings. Overall a super place to spend a vacation and Noeleen was always available for advice and information. We would highly recommend this property.

All in all a lovely stay with Noeleen, the house was spotlessly clean and is fantastically equipped with a big kitchen, comfortable living room and beautiful bathroom. Noeleen lives in the same building but completely separate, you can hear each other a little bit but privacy is guaranteed. I am a tall (bigger) guy and found the double bed on the narrow side but Noeleen mentioned she might change it out for a bigger one. Noeleen is a fantastic host with a lot of local knowledge. I can highly recommend her house as a place for relaxation and rest.

From the moment we arrived we loved the place and equally our host Noleen. What a warm welcome we received from our generous host! The house was ideal for us and felt very comfortable - we were instantly at home. This confirmed the impression I had read in previous reviews and it was all correct - perfect! With the lovely village with local services and restaurants and shops and the wine producers and pretty scenery it was hard to leave and discover new places, just so relaxing to stay locally. We found people in shops etc very helpful and kind as well and they gave us lots of advice on where to go. A particular treat was a trip organised by Noleen to Luc Roberts wine Cave to see how him and his wife grow and produce 15,000 bottles of wine each year- Domaine Fontaine Marcousse - hand made wine at its best- it was truly delicious and we would never have discovered it without our hosts guidance. A fabulous place to stay and a great host and we would love return. Book and you will be equally delighted.

My family (wife, 2 kids) and I spent a wonderful period in Noeleen's house in Puisserguier (August 2015). I just want to thank Noeleen for her kind attention, starting for example with a fresh bowl of fruits our very first day. The house is very nice, very clean, all the things working properly. She recommended wonderfuls visits. We also had a bbq where Noeleen showed why she is the best smash-with-grevy and apple pie chef in France ....Puisserguier is a very small town you can have as a have for doing several routes: Canal du Midi, Enserune, also Beziers city is very nice (you have all the things from a big city while much less people). Thanks Noeleen and hope you see you again either in Puisseguier or Barcelona!!
