The property is located within a few short blocks from the world's most famous beach, where you can take in surfing, stand up paddling, canoe surfing, body boarding, snorkel or just sun bathe. Popular surf spots in front of the building include Publics, Queens Surf, Canoes, Pops and 3's. This is where everyone wants to be!

The room was exactly as described. It is easy walking distance to Waikiki Beach as well as Hononlulu Zoo.
If we had the opportunity to rent from Roger again, we would do so.
Location was awesome. It was walking distance from the beach and all the restaurants. Condo was comfortable for 3 people. Nice view since it was on the 32nd floor. There was always a security guard in lobby so I felt safe. Avoid paying parking fees. I found parking on the street without a problem. Monday and Friday were street sweeping so you have to move your car by 8:30 am which was not a problem since we always left early to explore the city. I loved Hawaii and Roger's location was perfect for our first visit. Roger was easy to contact too. Would recommend this condo.

Fabolous stay near the centre of busy Waikiki. The location was ideal to walk to nearby shops, beach, restaurants etc. It was clean, fully furnished and had a beautiful view from the balcony.
Roger was also very accommodating and quick to reply when needed. I would recommend this space to any family or friends for short/long term trips.
Nice centrally located place in Waikiki Beach for the money! Small room but clean. More like a hotel room than a condo. If your staying more than a few days you have to supply your own toilet paper and wash your towels but nice laundry right there by the pool. If you rent a car it costs $25 per day to park but unlimited in and out privileges. Overall we would stay here again.
The title says it all, fantastic view from balcony! Room was comfortable, two double beds. Small, functional kitchen which is great as you can prepare simple meals, breakfast on the balcony is lovely. Bathroom small, but hot water good. Had a issue with plumbing. Could not get wireless internet, but it is available in the lobby. Pool great with BBQ area if you are into that. Shop in the apartment block stocks food/alcohol/groceries. People friendly and helpful, tour desk, lifts fast. Good position, two blocks from beach and lots of restaurants. Bus stops at corner, easy to get places. Would recommend.
My husband and I just came back from Waikiki and absolutely LOVED everything. The room is perfect for your stay. It is very clean and recently renovated. (I'm a clean freak and take Lysol wipes and alcohol to clean any room we stay in and this room was clean - I was very pleased). It's like the size of a hotel room but has more amenities; mini kitchen with large refrigerator, hot plate, coffee maker, plates, mugs, cups, wine opener, and even a scissor (which came in handy). The hand-held shower head is very nice and there is good hot water along with good water pressure.
There is an ironing board and iron in the closet along with beach mats and a beach towel that you can take down to the beach (just 2 short blocks away). The location is perfect. You are close enough for an easy walk to all of the action of Waikiki beach and Kalakaua Ave. but yet you are away from the tourist-packed hotel area for a little peace and quiet. Especially relaxing is the big lanai. It has two comfortable lounge chairs and small table. We had breakfast out there every morning and relaxed in the sun and a few nights we even ate dinner out there too (so relaxing that we fell asleep on our lounges). The beach is to your right, the Ali Wai canal is to your left and straight ahead is a spectacular view of Diamond Head - just a great view all around.
The AC is good although we didn't use it much. The winds give off a nice breeze.
The Island Colony building is very nice (also recently renovated). There is a front security desk 24 hours so you feel safe. It's a very busy building so there is always someone coming or going and everyone is pretty friendly. There is also a convenience store/mini mart open till midnight on the 6th floor that sells just about everything. The 6th floor also has a beautiful pool, lounge area, laundry room and BBQs that you can reserve.
The room has a modem for high speed internet. We brought our own ethernet cable but there was one in the bedside table drawer.
There is an Enterprise around back of the building if you chose to rent a car. There is a cheaper parking lot if you can get a spot ($8 for 12 hours/$15 for 24 hours) on the back block, Nohonani St.
We never did meet Roger in person but our check-in and check-out went very smoothly. We even ended up extending our stay and Roger was so helpful. He answered all questions in a timely manner. We are looking forward to returning (as we are now obsessed with Hawaii) and staying here again. We would definitely recommend this condo and Roger.
We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. I found the room a little small, it really was more of a hotel room than a 'condo', but the large balcony was really nice and we enjoyed the great views. There's a great pool and jacuzzi on the 6th floor, with BBQ area and laundry facilities. It's right in the heart of Waikiki and easy walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurants and shops.
My only complaint is that we didn't receive any information about the room/facilities (other than the description on the Airbnb listing and a couple of sentences on garbage disposal and cleaning up in the booking confirmation email). We didn't realise that we could have been using the front desk for assistance until the last day of our stay, and it was another guest who told us how to get to the pool. Also, Roger had asked me to call when we arrived, and as I was using an overseas mobile number, I send him a text message instead of calling. I sent 3 more texts to Roger that afternoon, one with a question on connecting to the internet, and I didn't receive a reply until the following morning. There was no cable for the internet and we ended up having to buy a cable. I had called Roger and asked if he had one we could borrow and that we don't travel with a cable as most places have WiFi, he told me rather rudely "Not in Hawaii" (I had been using the free WiFi in Sears and Starbucks that day, so um, yes there is WiFi in Hawaii!). He also told me that it is clearly stated that I needed to bring my own cable (I went back to the listing on Airbnb and didn't see anywhere where it says this), and he said that out of the hundred previous renters, I was the first person to have this problem. A minor issue really, and if he had been a little more friendly on the phone, I wouldn't even have mentioned it here. But after that interaction, I will not be booking any accommodation with Roger in the future.
