This apartment is amazing!!! Well decorated with tons of natural light and beautiful artwork. The private balcony overlooks a gorgeous little garden. It is located in one of the safest neighborhoods in Mexico City. Everything you need is within walking distance...restaurants, bars, pharmacies, grocery stores. If you want to explore other parts of the city, there is a "sitio" or radio taxi stand across the street and the metro is only a 10 minute walk. Lalo was so helpful when we arrived, explaining the neighborhood and giving us restaurant recommendations. The fridge was stocked with soda and beer, and he even went out of his way to buy us some Pan de Muerto which is a seasonal delicacy. Anyone considering a trip to Mexico City should stay in this beautiful and quiet apartment! We loved it!
A great place to stay for a first-time trip to Mexico City. The apartment is exactly as pictured, and close to neighborhood parks and restaurants. The apartment faces a common courtyard so there was some noise from others in the building. Sandro went the extra mile for us by letting us check in early after an overnight flight and meeting us at the apartment (with a jug of water!) even though it was very early on Sunday morning.
Sandro is very kind. He let his colleague Eduardo to welcome me. It is very good that they bought the bread, water, coke and beer. The room is very comfortable. The neighborhood is good, quiet and safe. It is very convenient to access the subway, taxi around. I recommend this host.
Sandro's apartment is perfectly located, quiet, light, and very comfortable. I found it absolutely perfect, totally as described. Check in was very easy. A lovely place from which to explore DF - a cool, cool city.
Sandro and his place were amazing. My girlfriend and I arrived early in the morning (6 am). I called and he picked up right away. When we arrived, we had one of his business partners, Lalo, greet us. Lalo was incredibly friendly; he bought us water, recommended bars and restaurants, told us to give him a call if we needed anything (he was sincere), and provided us a cell phone on behalf of the property.
The property itself is beautiful. Exactly like the pictures. High ceilings, comfortable bed and couch, plenty of light. There is a small wooden balcony that overlooks a small complex (about 5-10 other apartments). All the other balconies are very verdant. Overall, very cute.
Also, in an amazing location. Right near the Anthropological Museum, several parks, and plenty of great restaurants and bars. La Condesa is a really cool neighborhood that doesn't feel touristy. Quiet and peaceful, but there are places that have bars that really pop off.
Sandro and Lalo were both extremely responsive and helpful from the moment we booked Sandro's apartment.
The apartment itself is very well located and peaceful (amazing in a city so big!). Our experience was enhanced by Lalo's hospitality - greeting us on arrival, sharing recommendations on local restaurants and even dropping us at the airport (as he was already going that way).
In short, this is a great apartment in a prime location with exceptionally helpful and professional hosts. I highly recommend this apartment!
This was our second time staying at Sandros property, this time friends came with us and rented another of his properties as well, and there were several things even improved over the last time. He works very hard at making guests comfortable, and we will be returning regularly.
