Don’t pay ridiculously high cleaning fees elsewhere! We keep fees low! Private entry, key code lock, your own private bathroom not shared with anyone & private porch. Finished (but basic) basement sleeps 3 with Queen bed and couch. Not fancy, just clean and comfortable.

Basement includes queen bed, couch, mini-fridge, microwave, desk, dresser, electric kettle and large living area. Only minutes from Biltmore & downtown Asheville, only 3 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway.
We are NOT 420 friendly.

The space
You will have the entire basement to yourself and not have to come in contact with anyone. You will be sent a key code for self check in. My husband and I live in the upstairs portion of the house, but basement has it's own entrance. Parking is on the street in front of our house.

Our finished basement is very basic but just what a traveler needs seeking a shower and soft and clean place to sleep. Basement isn't in the ground, but rather it is the 1st story of our home. It has two windows and a covered deck/porch. Door to the basement/room is your own private access--no need to go through the main part of the house.

This listing isn't anything fancy, but we make it available as a low-priced AirBnB option to travelers who are self sufficient and not expecting much. This room has a queen bed, couch, desk with chair, mini-fridge, microwave and a TV with a Roku to watch YOUR OWN Netflix or other streaming accounts.

It’s a basement, so if you think you’ll be cold or are sensitive to laundry detergent smells please plan to bring your own sheets/blankets.

Our home is in an awesome, scenic, and convenient location: we are a short 15-minute drive from downtown Asheville, 10 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from the Biltmore House, 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 5 minutes from Interstate 26.

Basement only; Includes private bathroom with shower, bed, couch, desk, dresser, and covered private porch/deck. Private access from ground level--no access to upstairs/kitchen/garage. Come and go as you please. No guests over please. No curfew--don't be afraid to come in late as long as you are quiet and courteous.

Other things to note
This room includes parking for ONLY ONE VEHICLE on the street in front of our home.

Our home is not set up to accommodate people with mobility issues, as we are on an incline and there are stairs to the property.

We cannot provide a refund for inclement weather or adverse travel conditions affecting driving or parking access in our neighborhood or the region. Our refund policy is set by AirBnB.

Hello! My husband and I are looking forward to hosting guests in our home as well as being a guest of others during our travels. We became AirBnB hosts in 2014 and have since hosted more than 2,000 bookings. In 2018, we became AirBnB superhosts! We live in Asheville in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. Allison works as a fourth grade teacher at Mills River Elementary School. Peter works as the Trails Coordinator at a regional land trust, Conserving Carolina. Both of us work to keep this region we love as wonderful as it is today, and make it even better for future generations. We love to take road trips throughout the year. We have appreciated the kindness of many over the years who have let us stay in their home or camp in their yard, or have rented a room to us for a reasonable rate. We are guests who are focused on our travels and we most often are seeking simply a room to hang our hat for the night before our travels resume the following morning. For that reason, most hosts barely know that we are there. In appreciation for the kindness shown to us over the years, we pay it forward by being clean and courteous when we are guests in the homes of others, and we are seeking to host guests who are similarly self-sufficient and simply seeking a basic place for the night. We look forward to you staying in our home!
