Bright and quiet studio loft with balcony in Villa Crespo Outlet, only 10 minutes walk from Palermo Soho.
Well connected by public transport (underground and buses), all main facilities and amenities are only a couple of blocks away.
A cheerful and luminous studio apartment in a newly finished building. The studio is on a quiet street facing the inside of the block, in trendy Villa Crespo/Palermo Outlet area and is conveniently connected to public transport (Malabia stop, underground line B only 5 blocks away, metro bus Juan B. Justo one block away and lots of buses on Avenida Corrientes, just 2 blocks away) . The neighbourhood has many amenities close by, supermarket and banks are on Av. Corrientes and, since the super trendy Palermo Soho is just a short walk away, the selection of cafes, bars , restaurants, clothes shops, yoga centers etc is endless.
For tango dancers is ideal as all the most popular milongas are all really close by (Villa Malcom, Milonga 10, Salon Canning, La Viruta, El Yeite, El Juvenil, estudio Dinzel, 4030).
No smoking inside the flat , but allowed on the balcony. Fast Wifi connection and shared top floor with laundry and terrace.
Villa Crespo is a friendly neighbourghood which is rapidly becoming popular with young people for its proximity to Palermo Soho (they are beginning to call it Palermo Queens) whilst still retaining its local residential feel. For tangueros Villa Crespo holds a special meaning since it was Osvaldo Pugliese's 'hood, his club 'El Fulgor de Villa Crespo' is few blocks away from the apartment and is where the Milonga10 is held. Several other very popular milongas are in this area: Villa Malcom, La Viruta, Salon Canning, el Yeite.
Villa Crespo was created in 1886 and it was the neighbourhood of the tanneries and shoe factories. In 1889 began construction of the 'Conventillo de la Paloma' a building for all the factory workers which held 112 families of mostly italian, spanish and jewish immigrants and which soon became the symbol of the neighbourhood. In 1928 it inspired the famous 'sainete' (one-act farce) 'El Conventillo de la Paloma', a classic of Porteño theatre. You can still visit the building in Serrano 152-158 y Thames 145-149 (from the apartment keep on Thames and just cross Corrientes).
Laundry room and Zum
A lot. I manage the property so I am very hands on!
Villa Crespo is still a 'real' residential neighbourhood, so close to trendy Palermo Soho that you can enjoy its bars and cafes without actually suffering from the noise and crowds.
It is very well connected to other areas of town by underground and metro bus, you can reach the centre in just a 10 minutes Subte ride or Palermo Botanical Gardens on the Metro Bus.

I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Kicca but she was extremely accessible and helpful. She arranged a cab for me from the airport and was available to answer any question immediately. The apartment is lovely, very clean, and in a great location with lots of great places to eat nearby, two grocery stores and several neighborhood grocers within a few blocks radius, and the subway close too.
Excelent place, very neat and clean.
Close to supermarkets, grocery stores and public transportation (like subway/underground and buses), is located in a very nice neighborhood.
Kicca is a excelent host. I will sure recomend to friends and family, and next time in Buenos Aires, I hope to stay there as weel.
Excellent place, excellent location.
In a city like Bs Aires the A.C. was a big relief.
We stayed in this apartment for a month and had a great time. The studio is in a safe part of town and very well maintained. The subway is close by, as are local shops and a good supermarket. Palermo is within walking distance, so you have easy access to the area's shops, bars and restaurants. Kicca was a helpful host.
The house was nice in a nice neighborhood with easy access to restaurants/shops etc..
I stayed 2 weeks in this studio in Villa Crespo. It was my first AirBNB experience and it was a good one. I came for Tango and the studio is very well placed for a lot of Milonga places. I could walk every day (10 minutes) to my Tango Class in Villa Malcolm on Ave. Cordoba. The neighborhood is quite nice when the sun shines. You have to get used to the dog shit which is in the streets. You find that everywhere in BA, not only in the area of the apartment. Bakery, Grocery stores are in easy walking distance to the studio, as are some restaurants. Don't mis Cafe Crespin on Vera 699 (5 min walking distance to the apartment). I very much appreciated the fact that the studio is situated in a calm street, so there was little street noise. Of course the walls of those studios are thin and you here every word and every music channel of your neighbors next to you and above you. But that is the case everywhere, so you have to get used to it. Argentines have usually loud voices and go to bed late. The mornings are beautifully quiet, so you can easily sleep in. For those who like shopping, the studio is very close to an area of great shopping (lots of Outlet stores). One word in regards to money changing: The official peso rate (which you get at banks, ATM or change places) is at the moment 4.5 pesos to 1 dollar (that changes from day to day). I was introduced to a company (website hidden) where you can send money from your credit card or bank account to a pick up place in Buenos Aires. There I got an exchange rate of 6.1. Big difference! It worked very well. You just need your passport for identification when you pick up the money. Last not least, Kicca, the land lady, is very kind and I could reach her within hours by phone or email, when I needed her help. Good experience all together!
The entire experience with AIRBNB was great. From booking to communicating with the Host, they kept you informed the whole way through.. Kicca was great! She was patient and helpful. The apartment was very clean, in a great location, and very modern. I would not hesitate staying there again or recommending it to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Buenos Aires!
The host is kind and helpful to the guests' needs.
The description of the apartment correspond to reality: the apartment is small but has everything you need to enjoy your stay well. We were almost 2 weeks.
The area is not close to "Microcentro", but it is well connected by metro and bus and is still very close to the Palermo district, full of bars and restaurants where you can spend pleasant evenings.
We suggest the apartment to tango lovers, because it is close to many of the best known and most popular milongas, also reachable on foot: a fortune given the extent of Baires.
We had a good time in the studio. We enjoyed the location and the fact that it's a very calm area. The apartment was nice and had what we needed. Kicca was a good host and was very easy to communicate with. We hope to rent this studio again in other opportunities, as we come often to Buenos Aires.
Gostei do apartamento e do local onde está situado. Porem faltou cobertores e travesseiros limpos. E a limpeza do apartamento precisa ser melhorada.
