Cozy apartment by Columbia Sleeps 4

Apartment - Entire home/apt · W 115th St, New York, NY 10027, United States

The Space

The apartment is fully furnished. It has a dinning room, that seats 4, connected to a small kitchen. In the living room you have a couch and a queen futon. There's a private bedroom with a queen bed. The bathroom is very comfortable and there's always hot water. My favorite thing about the apartment is that it gets a lot of natural light and it's very quiet for NYC standards.

Free wifi.
Free street parking.

The Morningside area (north of the upper west side) is an easy going neighborhood filled with bars, restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. The apartment is a few steps to the 1 train and many buses. Cabs can be stopped at the corner easily too.

You will be next to Riverside Park which runs all along the Hudson. Walking distance to Central Park and 15 minutes from midtown by subway.

  • I could not be happier with my stay at Laura's! Her apartment is spacious, very clean, and full of light. It is conveniently located a block away from the train that can have you in lower Manhattan within a half an hour, there is a 24 hour grocery store around the corner, and it is a short walk to Central Park. Laura was very easy to communicate with and always responded promptly. She was also very flexible with our check in and check out time. I highly recommend Laura and her apartment! Thanks again!

  • This is a great place for a family, or other group that requires some separated sleeping spaces. It's so nice to have a few places to spread out in and a kitchen to save on all those vacation meal costs. The heat is manageable with fans unless you're in a particularly rough heat wave, and there's a fountain to play in in a nearby park for when it gets too warm. We love the neighborhood because it feels roomy, has good restaurants and groceries, and easy transit to museums, etc. Finally, the place was super clean and our host quite flexible and helpful.

  • I've stayed in other apartments in New York using services similar to Airbnb, as well as in hotels, and Laura's was by far the best place I've stayed in the city. First, she was extremely nice and professional, responding promptly to all emails. The apartment was very clean, airy, spacious, comfortable and quiet, and especially close and convenient to Columbia University (just half a block away). It was a terrific four-day stay, and I would absolutely recommend Laura and her apartment. The place and the host were wonderful!

  • I was extremely happy with my stay at Laura's place. The apartment is large and very bright, conveniently furnished, greatly located just across the street from the Columbia campus, and super quiet - no street noise and very quiet neighbors make it the perfect place to rest and relax at the end of the day. The apartment was spotless clean when I arrived. Laura's been very helpful, too. Overall, I warmly recommend this place!

  • I had a great time at Laura's place! It was much better than I thought, very well located, with just few steps you can reach the subway, a market, a starbucks and lot of other good places. Laura is a great host, her place is really cozy. I Hope to stay there again soon.

  • I was so impressed by how clean, light-filled, and spacious Laura's apartment was! We loved our stay. You have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, but it wasn't much of a problem. I slept on the futon in the living room (my friend was in the bedroom), and it was very large and comfortable. Temperature in the apartment on a cold night was perfect. Make sure you ask Laura for her room number after booking :) She was very responsive by text during my stay, and she even let us "check in" early.

  • Laura's apartment is clean and comfortable. She is also very responsive and accommodating. This experience is much more pleasant than any other stay we had in NYC. We def recommend it to friends.

  • I have stayed at airbnb properties throughout the world, and I truly must rank both Laura and her property among the best for my needs. On this visit to NYC over Thanksgiving, I needed an apartment to accommodate my family of college adults where we could visit, cook meals, and feel like a home-away-from-home near Columbia U. Laura's apartment met all those needs, and she was extraordinary in offers of help! We had all the amenities of home, well-stocked kitchen of cooking equipment, laundry, extra airbed, reliable and fast internet. The apartment was spacious by NYC standards, very clean and tidy. 116th and Broadway/Columbia U station on next block, Red line #1 directly into town. I highly recommend Laura and her apartment and would most certainly return. Very well priced. Much appreciation Laura. Happy holidays!
