Interaction with Guests
I do not like to bug the guest but am here if they need anything.
I am on the bus line but it only comes once an hour. This is not the best city to get around with public transportation.
The downstairs is community area where you can use the kitchen and hang out if you like. If the weather is nice I have a breezeway and small backyard that is nice to enjoy.
Mary is a wonderful, warm and friendly hostess! She greeted us on arrival, gave us the grand tour of her fabulously funky, eclectic home and let us loose on St Louis. The house's location is PERFECT! It's close to town and walking distance to LaFayette Park and some of the prettiest brownstones this side of the Mississippi.
Our private room was large and filled with sunlight, Mary makes great coffee in the morning and even had a light breakfast for us; it was a truly sweet little stay in her home.
I very much enjoyed my time at Mary's. She has a comfortable, casual and artistic home in a lush, green neighborhood. I enjoyed talking with her and a long term resident, AJ, in the morning over coffee each morning. Lovely, large bedroom with private bath, plenty of privacy. I plan to rebook if I visit St. Louis again.
Mary felt us feel welcome immediately! She was very flexible about our check-in time since she didn't have a guest the previous night. Her home was fabulous, very artsy and unique! It was a perfect oasis in St. Louis. The location was very convenient. We were 10-15 minutes away from pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The breezeway was the perfect place to hang out and relax. Mary was a fabulous host and we highly recommend Mary's home for your stay in St. Louis! Thank you Mary! We would definitely stay here again!
