Robin and Max were amazing - greeted us upon arrival and walked us through all aspects of the house and property. We got in late and they were still gracious and accommodating. The house is so cozy and comfortable, and the property is unbelievable - a true desert eden. We woke up in the morning and just out the front door saw jackrabbits, quail, mourning doves, ground squirrels and chipmunk type creatures within yards of us amidst the lovely landscape. Acres and acres of private property only minutes for Pappy and Harriets. A true gem of a place with hosts to match!

What a spectacular place! We pulled into High Desert Eden and loved first of all the scenery. It was magical, relaxing, and you see the property was well maintained by the owners who were just down to earth lovely people. Robin and Max made us feel at home as soon as we parked our car. We had our privacy and also enjoyed talking and learning about the area. We did a yoga session with Max who is a master at it and I started reading one of Robin's novels and plan to read more of her beautiful novels. We will definitely be back to High Desert Eden.

An amazing place. My wife and 20 month old daughter spent and amazing, restful weekend. It felt like time stands still, and a great place to recharge, and explore. A quick drive to Pioneertown rounds out a great location and comfortable, clean house.

If you Are looking for an amazing place to unwind search no further. This is it. Amazing hosts. Amazing property. Max and Robin can give you the lay of the land and are available for anything you need , yet at the same time make you feel like you are the only one on the property. The best room by far is the covered outdoor patio with a bed. We slept out there all night with the most amazing view and felt like we were camping. Unreal!! Great hikes. To all the future guests I'm jealous. Enjoy!!

We had an amazing time in pioneertown at robin and max's place. Their home is off the beaten path so it is great for a getaway from the city life. Their property is amazing! So many fun spots to explore. They are on acres of land that you can hike, relax on- they have a hammock, tons of rock gardens, a fire pit! They also have a screened in porch that has a bed so you can sleep outside but still be protected. We saw so many jack rabbits and birds every morning! They also had everything you need in their place including coffee and they brought us bread! Definitely recommend 100%!

What an amazing experience. The house is so cozy with so much to keep you satisfied. The wildlife preserve was unbelievable (Max's landscaping really is a work of art). Robin was overly accommodating and to top it all off there was fresh home made jam that I had every morning. Mmm mmm good :) Would love to come back with friends. Thanks again for everything!

Max and I have lived on this property for 13 years this month, and every day we're here we love it more and more. Max has put so much great work into the gardens. It's become something of a local showplace.
