This nice small studio flat is located in the very centre of Corniglia, next to the central square and 10 minutes from the seaside. Cute and fully equipped, it is perfect for a 3-4 days stay.
This cute studio flat has a very central location, just ideal to let our guests appreciate the true life of our small town. Its French window looking just over the most charming Street in town (one of the most popular sight in Corniglia), and the flowered ancient stairways to the house makes it perfect to enjoy the local atmosphere, quiet and lively at the same time.
This unit is cosy and nice, and even if it's not extremely huge, it's spacious enough to be comfortale and relaxing. Besides, it is fully equipped with a true kitchenette, hoven, fridge, full crockery and electric kettle.
All linen (sheets, towels, table cloth etc.) is provided and, for weekly reservations, a midstay cleaning is included. Bathroom is wide and equipped with hair-drier and all basic toiletries.
For younger than four years children we can also provided baby-cots.
Interaction with Guests
can speak English, French and Spanish rather fluently and I usually welcome my guests spending as much time as it's necessary to introduce them to our region and all leisure activity (sightseeing, walking, swimming etc.) that can be done here. I provide them with walking maps and updated trains and boats schedules. I've been working with hikers from all over the world for many years and I can suggest both true hikes through the most Amazing sceneries and beautiful simpler walks or town visits.
During my guests' stay I'm full time available and can be easily reached.
Other Things to Note
My husband and I are Cinque Terre wines producers. Our winery, named "La Polenza", is one of the biggest in the full area. We make local certificated White and red wines, especially the famous Sciacchetrà, a traditional dessert wine better known as "the nectar of gods" or simplier a "meditation wine". Therefore, it will be a pleasure to GIVE AS A PRESENT to all my guests a BOTTLE OF MY WINE and, of course, detailed information on wine-making in Cinque Terre as well as my advice&tips about best combinations between local wines and typical ligurian food.
What's more - last but not least! - our guests can directly purchase our wines from us.
Check in time is rather flexible. However, after confirming, we ask our guests to get in touch again a few days before coming to let us know what time they will be here (and once more if there is any substancial change).
Check out is instead strictly by 10:30 am. Nevertheless, our guests can leave their luggage in the same building where our units are even all day long.
My stay in Corniglia couldn't have been better... thanks in large part to Stefania's warm welcome and charming studio. She spent a good amount of time with me when I arrived, sharing maps and timetables to help me understand the best ways to see the Cinque Terre, which was much appreciated. Additionally, as a local wine maker, she shared a lovely bottle of wine as a welcome gift, which I thoroughly enjoyed with my dinners of fresh pesto (a Cinque Terre specialty), local cheeses, focaccia, olives, and strawberries. The studio, well-kept and comfortable, is just off the main square of the village, so from the window, you will hear the church bells and enjoy the sounds of friendly locals and visitors coming and going. Plus, you are steps from two Gelaterias... what more could you ask for? Be sure to try the basil gelato! While it is a the smallest of the five villages, I found Corniglia to be the most charming. Wander the narrow streets, walk down the steps to the harbor, savor the sunsets, admire the terraced gardens, hike to the other villages, and try the local specialties. Stefania's studio is the perfect home base to do it all. I'm already looking forward to returning!
Stefania was very welcoming and the studio was perfect for our weekend getaway, right in the center of the lovely place that is Corniglia.
Stephania made us feel extremely welcome. We arrived very late in the evening and she kindly met us at the station, and then we met in the morning for a coffee and to get advice about the local area. She gave us lots of tips about travel and which trails were open, as well as good places to eat.
The room is fine but you won't want to spend much time in it because the village is so beautiful. The room is quite cool at night (in April) but there is heating if needed. We appreciated La Polenza's wine!
My friend and I had a phenomenal time in this Airbnb. It exceeded all our expectations. The location was ideal, beautiful, and quaint. Stefania was a wonderful host and went beyond her responsibilitirs to help us learn about the National Park andnhow to best navigate it.
Juste parfait ...
After visiting Cinque Terre for three days, we already miss it! Our personal favorite of the five towns was Corniglia. A lot of that had to do with Stefania. She was a very friendly and informative host. She was gracious enough to give us a bottle of her finest wine for a birthday celebration; making it even more special is that she is a wine producer. Her place was cozy and charming with the subtle sounds of church bells and random Italian neighborly conversations adding to the ambiance. Corniglia is peaceful and warm. And, by all means, eat at Mananan there! Simply put; A never to be forgotten Italian experience!

my name is Stefania and I am Giada's mum and Lorenzo's wife. I live in Corniglia, where I rent out the units listed here and meanwhile I am a Cinque Terre wines producer - and I love both my jobs.
Actually, I like meeting people from different countries and areas, all with their own habits and customs. I really think that travelling enhaces sensitivity and culture of both the traveller and anyone getting in touch with him/her, since travelling means basically Exchange experiences!
I also love foreign languages and my university studies as well as my frequent contacts with people from all over the world have allowed me to speak English, French and Spanish rather fluently. I do think the best way to improve Language speaking is practising the most you can. So, be careful: if we start talking, you could not be able to stop me anymore!
