Skiing since I was 3 years old! Growing up in Europe's flattest country, Denmark, (but with a Norwegian mother) I always had to travel to go skiing - often to Norway as a child...
My second time in the Alps were in Tignes as a 9-year old, and later I spent 3 holidays in Tignes and 3 in Val d'Isère.
From then on I started coming back for full seasons!! Out of my 10 winter seasons in the French Alps, I spent the second and the last 3 in Tignes which I now consider my second home - although I nowadays only come back for 1-2 weeks a year.
I know the village and whole the area very well and due to my many winters and summers in my beloved Tignes!
You can ask me almost anything in regards to Tignes; how to get there, where to rent equipment, which ski schools for the kids or maybe a guided of piste day (?), which slopes for what, where is the best off-piste (and the hidden ones), where to dine on the slopes - or in the evening (fine French cuisine / buffets / burgers / pizzas / crêpes), what to do in the evening (or summer) and the list goes on and on! :-D
My x-father-in-law is the owner of this amazing apartment and I have helped him rent it out (when we're not there ourselves) since 2003.
My oldest daughter lay her first turns in Tignes and less that 10 years later it was my great pleasure to show her the famous off-piste: Piste Perdue (the forgotten/hidden slope) in Val d'Isère - both great memories!
You are very welcome in our private appartment - just take god care of our little gem ;-)
