The room is located in one of the most beautiful building of the city, the Palazzo dello Spagnolo, an historical palace of the '700 in the heart of Naples. Within walking distance of many tourist attractions, transport and markets. It consists of a large room with double bed, wardrobe and television. Bathroom with bathtub and fully equipped kitchen.
My husband and I spent 3 days in Naples and met Celesta's mom Mena. The room was in a beautiful, former Spanish Palace, and was conveniently located near the historic city center. The beast part of the room was the personal and artistic way that it was appointed--with intriguing sculptures of faces. The whole apartment gave off an artistic vibe, which warmed by soul. The room is unlike many of the generic ones found on Air B&B. Added bonus, we had coffee twice at Antica Caffeteria Due Vergini, and the barista remembered our order and wished us a "big kiss from Naples" the day we left!
We stayed at Celesta's for 5 nights to explore Naples, see Pompeii and Herculanium. The house is very impressive and in an interesting market area very close to the metro and a short stroll to the historic area of the city. Naples is a very varied city full of character and easy to get around using the metro and the funicular railway.
We were made most welcome by Celesta, her mother Mena and her sister Violetta. We were free to use the vast kitchen whenever we wanted and if we happened to come across them there, were invited to join in their meal. Celesta had perfect English and was most helpful. A very interesting household altogether full of artwork. Great room and bathroom.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Sig. Bofano aufgenommen.
A really beautiful apartment with such lovely cats! Celesta was really helpful and lovely.
Celesta and Mena (her very friendly mum) live in an AMAZING palace in Napoli (it's even in guidebooks). It really is wonderful flat in a central location. We'd love to go back and stay again.
Napoli is a crazy and brilliant city but if you stay with Celesta then you will have somewhere quiet and beautiful to go back to after a long day sightseeing.
It is a shame we only had 12 hours to stay in this amazing palazzo! The place was huge, made even bigger by the fact that Celesta's mum was out of town on business, so we had the entire place to ourselves!
The palazzo had 3 pianos, one of which was a yamaha grand, so I played that for an hour, as I'm quite an accomplished pianist. The acoustics were amazing, because the rooms were so big!
The kitchen and dining area could accommodate a small army, so we had no problems here!
Interestingly, Celesta is an artist, and it was great to see her artwork adorning the walls, floor and ceiling throughout the palazzo!
Next time, we will stay for more than 12 hours!
We loved our stay! Didn't have the chance to meet Celesta but her mother Mena was our host. She is lovely and made us feel very much at home. The house, an appartment inside a great palazzo is beautiful and the room as well. Great location in the center. Thank you for sharing your house, Celesta and Mena!
We received a wonderful way in the palace of Celesta.
This is a wonderful place.
And Celesta and her mom are very attentive and friendly.
Thank you so much Célesta*****
