This room is one of our two rooms in our B&B, Bed & Bath, in our appartment. This room is small, but cosy. And - facing away from the street - very quiet.
The appartment is on the 4th floor with no access to lift/elevator.
The house is located right at the inner lakes of Copenhagen. The fountains in Sankt Jørgens Sø (The Lake of Saint George)
Our Bed & Bath is located in our big appartment - in an OLD charming house - in walking distance to the Central Station and many of the great sights of Copenhagen. The trip from the airport to the Central Station takes 12 minutes and costs around 35 DKK (4,5 € or 6 $) with very frequent service, 6-10 trains per hour.
We live in Vesterbro, which is one of the most vibrant and popular neighborhoods in Copenhagen. Here you will find plenty of cafés, bars, galleries, fleamarkets, stores and buslines right outside the door. Furthermore, you will be in walking distance to Tivoli, the waterfront, the city center with all the historical sights, and the lakes with good opportunities for strolling and jogging is just outside the door.
The room is little and cosy, but satisfies all the needs - first of all with a very good bed - of a busy traveller, who spends the days with meetings, conferences, sightseeing etc.
Please notice!: The room is on the fourth floor without elevator.
There is separate, shared, toilet and bath room.
You can use the kitchen to preparing breakfast and small meals, and you can keep food in the fridge. But we can also recommend a lot of good opportunities for breakfast, lunch and dinners in cafés and restaurants just around the corner.
Smoking is allowed on the balcony.
We - the family, including our two children (14 and 16) - love to help our guests with information and tips about how to get a wonderful stay in Copenhagen.
We have run this Bed & Bath during 15 years and met a lot of nice and friendly people from all over the world, and many of them fortunately come back more times.
Besides access to your room, you will have share access to the bathroom, toilet, kitchen and balcony with the guest(s) from the other guestroom and the family.
Interaction with Guests
You live with four busy members of the family, but we have always got time to have a chat with you.
We expect that our guests respect that they are guests in a private home. Which for instance means that they do not spend more time than necessary in the bathroom and kitchen.
Travelling alone for the first time I was obviously a little apprehensive about my stay with strangers and being in the city in general.
However Bente and Erik were such wonderful hosts that I felt right at ease. As soon as I arrived they provided me with a detailed map of the city, pointing out all the places I was hoping to visit. They highlighted where I might find food stores, coffee shop and bars and then showed me around their beautiful apartment, letting me come and go as I pleased.
Overall the city is beautiful and very easy to navigate once you know how. Thanks to Bente and Erik I'll definitely be visiting again.
I had a great, but short, stay with Bente and Erik. The room I stayed in was different than the picture, but basically the same. The flat is in a pretty old building, in a great location. The main train station is only a few bus stops away, and there are lots of restaurants in walking distance.
The reservation was canceled 6 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

The flat is very nice, the room cosy but the only problem is that the room is in the kitchen, means it's was a little bit noisy and smelly.
I was greeted by Erik and it was easy to get to his place by foot since he provided clear instructions. His place is not too far from the main station and is definitely a plus point. In fact, given that strategic location, you can walk to many places of interests. I didn't have to take bus/train when I was in Copenhagen. I also met his daughter and she was very friendly too. Generally the room is well kept and it's good.
