Our Bed & Bath is located in our big appartment - in an OLD charming house - in walking distance to the Central Station and many of the great sights of Copenhagen. The trip from the airport to the Central Station takes 12 minutes and costs around 35 DKK (4,5 € or 6 $) with very frequent service, 6-10 trains per hour.
We live in Vesterbro, which is one of the most vibrant and popular neighborhoods in Copenhagen. Here you will find plenty of cafés, bars, galleries, fleamarkets, stores and buslines right outside the door. Furthermore, you will be in walking distance to Tivoli, the waterfront, the city center with all the historical sights, and the lakes with good opportunities for strolling and jogging is just outside the door.
The room is little and cosy, but satisfies all the needs - first of all with a very good bed - of a busy traveller, who spends the days with meetings, conferences, sightseeing etc.
Please notice!: The room is on the fourth floor without elevator.
There is separate, shared, toilet and bath room.
You can use the kitchen to preparing breakfast and small meals, and you can keep food in the fridge. But we can also recommend a lot of good opportunities for breakfast, lunch and dinners in cafés and restaurants just around the corner.
Smoking is allowed on the balcony.
We - the family, including our two children (14 and 16) - love to help our guests with information and tips about how to get a wonderful stay in Copenhagen.
We have run this Bed & Bath during 14 years and met a lot of nice and friendly people from all over the world, and many of them fortunately come back more times.
Very comfortable room and welcoming host.
Amazing central location! The room is just big enough, maybe a little tight for 2 people, but it was perfect for just me.
I was welcomed and showed around by Bente and Erik's daughter, but did not meet Erik until I had already been there for a day and did not meet Bente until my third day there. I wish they had made slightly more of an effort to introduce themselves and make me feel welcome, but nonetheless it was a nice stay!
Comfortable bed and homely room!
Bente and Erik was so awesome people and very helpful.
Location was perfect!
My stay was too short but the room in this beautiful blue house was exactly what I needed! I would stay there again!
great location , good communications , bente and erik were good hosts . Very nice people , everything was perfect . the flat is very big . looks an historical building but with modern things .
i would recommend to anyone .
Bente and Erik were great hosts during my short stay in København!
The room is really well located — close to the central train station and Vesterbro station. The neighbourhood is very vibrant and you'll find everything at your fingertips! The room was tidy, but a bit smaller than I initially depicted from the images here on Airbnb. The bed was really comfortable and I had very good sleep in it!
The hosts are really flexible regarding check in and check out times, and you can even leave your luggage there on the day of checkout if you want to explore the city a bit more! Erik gave me a map with some hot tips where to eat and we had some nice talks in the evening.
Both Erik and Bente are down-to-earth nice persons, and true Copenhageners. I can absolutely recommend this place for short term stay in the city!
The host family is very nice and helpful. The room is clean but a bit smaller compared from the picture shown. The price is fair for a night to sleep. The shared toilet and bathroom is a bit old.
CPH is such a beautiful city! I stayed at Bente's for 3 nights. My stay was great, the house is located very close to the city center and one can easily walk and explore the surrounding areas. Plenty of restaurants, stores and a big supermarket located close by. The room was clean, I had all I needed and I felt at home. Bente and her family are really kind people, I very much appreciated the helpful tips they gave me.
If you plan to go further than the city center and visit other places like Christiania or other neighborhoods, you might want to consider buying the city pass. I bought one for 72 hours and granted me with unlimited rides on the buses, trains and metros. I found it worthy and at night when I was really tired and did not want to walk, I took the bus 9A which left me just in front of Bente's house.
If going to CPH again I will for sure go back and stay at Bente's, I can truly recommend the place.
Very central place to stay. Just 15 minute’s walk down town. Friendly hosts.
Great location and easy going hosts. I arrived quite late on a Friday night, but was still welcomed warmly and shown around.
