This room is one of two rooms in our B&B, Bed & Bath, in our appartment. This room is small, but cosy. And - facing away from the street - very quiet.
The appartment is on the 4th floor with no access to lift/elevator.
Max rent time is 8 days!
The house is located right at the inner lakes of Copenhagen. The fountains in Sankt Jørgens Sø (The Lake of Saint George)
Our Bed & Bath is located in our big appartment - in an OLD charming house - in walking distance to the Central Station and many of the great sights of Copenhagen.
Please notice!: The room is on the fourth floor without elevator.
The trip from the airport to the Central Station takes 12 minutes and costs around 35 DKK (4,5 € or 6 $) with very frequent service, 6-10 trains per hour.
We live in Vesterbro, which is one of the most vibrant and popular neighborhoods in Copenhagen. Here you will find plenty of cafés, bars, galleries, fleamarkets, stores and buslines right outside the door. Furthermore, you will be in walking distance to Tivoli, the waterfront, the city center with all the historical sights, and the lakes with good opportunities for strolling and jogging is just outside the door.
The room is little and cosy, but satisfies all the needs - first of all with a very good bed - of a busy traveller, who spends the days with meetings, conferences, sightseeing etc.
There is separate, shared, toilet and bath room.
You can use the kitchen to preparing breakfast and small meals, and you can keep food in the fridge. But we can also recommend a lot of good opportunities for breakfast, lunch and dinners in cafés and restaurants just around the corner.
Smoking is allowed on the balcony.
We - the family, including our two children (14 and 16) - love to help our guests with information and tips about how to get a wonderful stay in Copenhagen.
We have run this Bed & Bath during 15 years and met a lot of nice and friendly people from all over the world, and many of them fortunately come back more times.
Besides access to your room, you will have shared access to the bathroom, toilet, kitchen and balcony with the guest(s) from the other guestroom and the family.
Interaction with Guests
You live with four busy members of the family, but we have always got time to have a chat with you.
We expect that our guests respect that they are guests in a private home. Which for instance means that they do not spend more time than necessary in the bathroom and kitchen.
- the house is very close to the trainstation and the city centre
- the house itself is absolutely gorgeous
- the hosts are very friendly and helpful people: they provided me with a map of the city and gave me some good advice on restaurants
- the house and room are very clean
Less positive aspects:
- the room is very small (about 7-8 square meters)
- it's a bit too expensive for what you get (you can get a private room in a hotel/hostel in the area for similar or less)
Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Bente's, and I can recommend this place for people travelling alone who need to be in the area and have a full programme. Less recommended for those who consider staying inside.
Ich habe eine Freundin für zwei Nächte in Kopenhagen besucht. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, das Bett gemütlich und die Familie sehr nett. An- und Abreise waren problemlos. Ich kann alles sehr empfehlen.
It was a nice room and an lovely family!
The description of the room in the picture is accurate. However I never met my Airbnb host, only her husband. Even thought he was very kind, I did not appreciate it being another person than the one I expected.
Communication with them was fine during the reservation process. Hiwever, I had to leave before the expected date and all they cared about was me paying 2 nights minimum, when their cancellation policy was set as "flexible". Additionally, when I was charged for the full reservation, and wrote to them, as the site indicates, they never answered my email!!
This was my first experience with Airbnb... and in all honesty I did not like it AT ALL!
Travelling alone for the first time I was obviously a little apprehensive about my stay with strangers and being in the city in general.
However Bente and Erik were such wonderful hosts that I felt right at ease. As soon as I arrived they provided me with a detailed map of the city, pointing out all the places I was hoping to visit. They highlighted where I might find food stores, coffee shop and bars and then showed me around their beautiful apartment, letting me come and go as I pleased.
Overall the city is beautiful and very easy to navigate once you know how. Thanks to Bente and Erik I'll definitely be visiting again.
I had a great, but short, stay with Bente and Erik. The room I stayed in was different than the picture, but basically the same. The flat is in a pretty old building, in a great location. The main train station is only a few bus stops away, and there are lots of restaurants in walking distance.
The reservation was canceled 6 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

I am a young woman, in the beginning of the fifties.
When I'm not working - as a social educator - I am playing with my children (14 and 16), and my husband!, reading books, baking, knitting, travelling.
We, me and my husband Erik, are very engaged in the development of our lovely city, Copenhagen, and will with great pleasure inform you about historical and modern sights in and around Copenhagen.
We are outgoing, happy and love good company.
And love our bikes as any other person from Copenhagen..
