Welcome to Klettar farm! Our renovated apartments in this unique tower can sleep up to 2 guests, you'll have private kitchenette and private bathroom.
The Tower is located in the South of Iceland and is the perfect place for your travels around the Golden Circle or as your starting point for the South Coast.

The tower was built in 1957 and was used for drying hey to feed the cows after a long rainy summer. The tower was used for drying hey all up to the year 1972 and stood empty up until now.

The space
The studio apartment has this raw Icelandic feel to it in design. Everything was renovated and turned into studio apartments in the year of 2018. The studio has one bedroom with queen size bed.

Located just around the corner of the amazing Golden Circle but as well close to the South Coast of Iceland!
Flúðir is only 15 min drive from the property and Gullfoss and Geysir are about 40 min drive away.
We recommend you to stop at this really amazing environmentally friendly green house Friðheimar and try their awesome tomato soup!
The Secret Lagoon is at Flúðir, the perfect place to relax at after exploring the Golden Circle.
Fontana Geotermal Bath is at Laugarvatn about 1 hour drive from our property.
Laugarvatns-caves "The Cave People" is an unique place to visit to see how the last people in Iceland lived in a cave!
Thingvellir National Park one of two Iceland's Unesco World Heritage sites.

Not far away from the property you can drive to Árnes - Thjorsardalur to see Háifoss, Hjálparfoss and Gjáin - this really cool scenic place where Game of Thrones was for example shot.
Hekla Volcano is in that area as well and you can on a good day have a view over Hekla, Tindfjöll mountains and Eyjafjallajökull Glacier from your window!

When staying for a longer time with us you'll be able to explore the south coast better;
Hella and Hvölsvöllur towns where you'll be able to visit Lava Center!
Seljalandsfoss waterfall (the one you can walk behind), The Black sand beach in Vík, Skógafoss and so much more!
