When you come home to Kings Hill Ski House, we want you to have zero hassles. If there is anything you need, please let us know.
When using the gas grill outside, please move it away from the house. When you are finished with it, and it has cooled down, please return it to where you found it with the cover on it.
Strictly no smoking, no pets.
If for any reason during your stay you have a technical emergency such as a water leak, or broken window, call us immediately. We will handle any and every problem during your stay.
We live in a very quiet neighborhood. Of course there is a reasonable expectation of noise, but do not cause any disturbance for our neighbors. Most of them are full time residents who enjoy the peace and quiet that this location provides. Otherwise, party on my friends.
Help yourself to anything in the kitchen, but do not leave a mess, and do not leave perishable items when you checkout.
•Please do your best to return everything to the way you found it. We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
•Place all used towels into the tub on the second floor, or in the washer in the laundry room. The cleaning service will clean them after you check out, there's no need for you to clean them.
•Leave any beds that have been slept in unmade to alert the house keepers to change the sheets.
•Remove any perishable items and throw them away.
•Put all garbage and recycling into the bins in the garage.
•Make sure all windows and doors are closed. If any are left open this will cause the alarm to fail when you try to set it.
•Set the alarm to away as you are leaving.
•Follow these rules and you will be welcomed back with open arms, anytime.
We had a great stay at the house. There is plenty of room. The tv had a PS3 with Netflix that kept our kids happy with grandma while we went skiing at snowbird which was only a few minutes away. The home stayed warm despite the cold weather. We fit 6 people very comfortably and could have fit a few more if needed.
The location was fantastic. Easy access to freeway system and ski resorts.
Great stay, Jamie was very helpful with information about the place and area. Will definitely stay here again when back in Utah
House was conveniently located to resorts, 15 mins to the Cottonwood ski areas. We enjoyed the living areas and kitchen. Lots of room, plenty of space for our group of 6. House directions and information was straight forward. Check on/out was a breeze. I would defenitely stay again. Thanks!
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION & CONVENIENCE! Kings Hill Ski House was all that we hoped for. Very comfortable for 4-8 people. Being that we used to live in SLC, we were aware of the great location of this house. Almost at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon, two ski resorts (Alta & Snowbird) are a quick 20 minute ride up the canyon. Two more ski resorts (Brighton & Solitude) are a quick 30 minute drive up the Big Cottonwood Canyon. 3 more resorts are about 45-1hr away in Park City (Park City Mountain, Canyons, Deer Valley). Smith's is a 5 minute drive away and there are many restaurants near by. The Porcupine, Canyon Inn & Hogs Wallow are a few of the popular hotspots, but if you drive a bit farther, you will find Bandits American Grill and Luna Taquiera. The airport is just a 20 minute ride as well. There are many convenient places near by to rent ski equiptment (Powder House or Ski & Sea) This is a fabulous place to stay in the winter if you are a skier or snowboarder and a great place for the summer if you are a hiker or rock climber.
Kings Hill had a great kitchen filled with modern appliances and any kind of pot, pan, knife, fork etc that you would need. The entire house was clean. Jamie has done a fabulous job in updating the house. My two children enjoyed having their own bedrooms and their own bathroom seperate from ours. A washing machine and dryer are available for use, which makes being on a ski trip easy. Clean DRY clothing everyday.
Jamie was a great host. We had some delays in getting to SLC and Jamie offered his assistance in anyway that he could.
We strongly recommend staying at Kings Hill Ski House the next time you are in SLC. Again, the location is prime and the comfort just makes it that much better. We are definitely going to return!
The house and Jaime were awesome. Large, clean, beautiful house that was 20 mins from Snowbird. Had a small plumbing issue but Jaime was able to resolve it at our convenience. Overall great experience; would definitely look into staying here next time we're in town!
Jamie was very responsive to any inquiries and assisted as much as he could. The house was well equipped, and probably more so after our group left. Everything was functional in the house, the neighborhood was perfectly situated for skiing at Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, etc. It is a very good alternative to hotels in SLC.
Jamie was very easy to work with and we had no problems making the arrangements and getting into the house. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and in a great location for accessing the ski areas. We had plenty of space for 8 of us, the kitchen was well equipped and the living areas were very comfortable. We all really enjoyed our stay there and would certainly return.
