When you come home to Kings Hill Ski House, we want you to have zero hassles. If there is anything you need, please let us know.
When using the gas grill outside, please move it away from the house. When you are finished with it, and it has cooled down, please return it to where you found it with the cover on it.
Strictly no smoking, no pets.
If for any reason during your stay you have a technical emergency such as a water leak, or broken window, call us immediately. We will handle any and every problem during your stay.
We live in a very quiet neighborhood. Of course there is a reasonable expectation of noise, but do not cause any disturbance for our neighbors. Most of them are full time residents who enjoy the peace and quiet that this location provides. Otherwise, party on my friends.
Help yourself to anything in the kitchen, but do not leave a mess, and do not leave perishable items when you checkout.
•Please do your best to return everything to the way you found it. We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
•Place all used towels into the tub on the second floor, or in the washer in the laundry room. The cleaning service will clean them after you check out, there's no need for you to clean them.
•Leave any beds that have been slept in unmade to alert the house keepers to change the sheets.
•Remove any perishable items and throw them away.
•Put all garbage and recycling into the bins in the garage.
•Make sure all windows and doors are closed. If any are left open this will cause the alarm to fail when you try to set it.
•Set the alarm to away as you are leaving.
•Follow these rules and you will be welcomed back with open arms, anytime.
This place and it's host's are awesome. There is no better location for views, or going to the mountains from the Salt Lake area. Plenty of amenities in both the house and just short drives away.
I love it and will be trying to go back every year.
First of all, our experience working with Jamie was delightful. He is responsive, engaging, and wonderful in all dealings. The facilities are appropriate and reasonable, especially for a skiing vacation. There are things we'd improve of a cosmetic nature only.
Couldn't have hoped for a better ski house near Snowbird and Alta. I stayed here with me and my 7 adult friends and it was spacious enough and had everything we needed to feel at home. We had 2 vehicles and were able to store them both in the garage so removing our skis from the ski racks overnight was not necessary. The kitchen had everything you could expect from a functional kitchen. The house is a quick drive to the 4 big SLC ski resorts and not far from the city either. Jamie was a great host and clearly communicated check in and out procedures (which were a breeze). Can't wait to return here next year!
House was great and large and fit our whole group easily. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. Beds were comfortable though a little small, but with so much space to spread out it wasn't an issue.
Jamie was very easy to work with and getting in and out was a breeze!
About as close to the little cottonwood resorts as you can get without being inside the canyon.
Very good location for going to resorts in either of the Cottonwood Canyons. Jamie was very responsive to any questions and the house is very spacious. This house is a great set up for ski trips and is very relaxing to come home and build a fire at the end of a long ski day.
Jamie was great, gave us all the info we needed on the house by email and text message before we got there. She was also very responsive to any questions we had. In terms of the house, most of the upstairs is recently updated with a large living area, nice dining/kitchen and master bedroom suite. Two more bedrooms downstairs with a shared bath worked out great for our 2 the kids. More than enough room in this house for our family of 4. The beds we used were very comfortable. There is also a sun room which is another bedroom upstairs, but it was a little drafty so we didn't use this room much. Only complaint would be the floor is the master bedroom is pretty squeaky so if anyone is walking in this room, it can be heard in the bedrooms downstairs.
Our family had a wonderful time at Jamie's ski house! It was spacious and comfortable. The location was ideal for skiing at Alta or Snowbird, just 9 miles up the canyon. We were fortunate to have a white Christmas with 6 inches of fresh powder that morning and were surprised to find that Jamie had arranged for the driveway to be cleared. Way to go! Thanks!
