If you are keen for an adventure, why not travel another 40 minutes from Rotorua to Taupo, where you can experience the natural beauty of the lake. Travel to Matamata to Hobbiton just over a hour away or go the extra distance to Waitomo Caves to see the Glo-worms or do Black water rafting.

Please note that you will need your own Transport and if you are arriving around Dinner time please note you are best to pick up something to eat before you get here, as it is 10 minutes to the closes Fish and Chip shop at Paengaroa or Pukehina or 20 minutes back to Te Puke to the local takeaways.

Liz was awesome! She was a perfect host, and also very accommodating and helpful. The room and property was so perfect, quiet, and peaceful which was a great change to being in the city. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling around the Rotorua area!

Liz and her place were wonderful. She made us an amazing dinner when we arrived and her hospitality was great. The farm had beautiful scenery and Inca was wonderful for some puppy love.

Elizabeth's farm was amazing! Beautiful views, clean bed and bathroom, space heater for cold nights. She even brought in a pet sheep for us to play with. Had tons of fun with the sheep and Inca!

Liz was super hospitable and we had a great time staying at her farm. The dinner was homemade and amazing!! We had lamb, vegetables and merengue with peach. We had a one of a kind experience as we got to feed the sheep, take some great shots and she went an extra mile by taking us to her brother's farm to see the calves and kiwi fruits. Thanks Liz!! Adriana and Hana @Te Anau as we got stuck on our way to Milford Sound, hoping to back on our way soon ;)

Liz and her place are great! She was incredibly flexible with our insanely late arrival on Christmas morning and was absolutely lovely during our stay. Her dog Inca was very fun and playful too! Would definitely recommend anyone to stay with Liz!

Liz is a very nice host staying up late due to our late arrival. Even though she had to get up early to work. We were welcomed by Inca (Liz's cute dog). The house was great and spacious. Liz had prepared the breakfast (bread, cereal, fruit, milk, juice) for us. She even spent some time at night to discuss point of interest in the area. Highly recommend her place to stay.

I enjoy the outdoors and live on a lifestyle block. During the week I work as a School Teacher. I have had the privilege of travelling to the USA, UK, Australia and many other places. I enjoy meeting people from all across the world and I would like to share my country wit…
