The nearby neighborhood includes popular Hy's Steak House, several major hotels and numerous large and small restaurants that cater to every nationality. A few blocks away you will find famous Kapiolani park and the Waikiki Shell, Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Diamond Head, golfing and many tennis courts. Watch the sunsets from nearly any vantage point along the beach and see the Friday night fireworks from the Hilton Village. Bring your camera.
Transportation is readily available. Bus stops are located in front of the property, and you can circle the island from your back yard. Rental cars are not really necessary unless you want to spend a lot of time at a certain destination. Ala Moana Center and Convention Center are about 1 mile away, ride the bus or one of the many open air trolleys.

On the day of departure, check-out time is no later than 11am. Guests may request a late check-out. Approval is required for late check-out requests and is based on availability. Approved guests will be assessed the following rates:
-Check-out between 11:01am and 5:00pm: 50% of the daily rental rate.
-Check-out beyond 5:01pm: 100% of the daily rental rate.
There is a trash chute on each floor, please take out trash and clean dishes that are used.
The apartment was very well maintained and very close to Waikiki Beach. There was clean towels, cooking utensils and bedding which made it feel like a home away from home. My only criticism is that the $156 cleaning fee and $99 service fees is a high considering that its a smallish studio apartment.
Roger was extremely accommodating and helpful and would definitely recommend him. The apartment was walking distance to everything which was very handy.

The room itself was alright, nice and clean. However, there are only two small windows next to the door so not much sunlight which I wasn't too fond of. However the room was comfortable to stay in for a few days.
My biggest issue came with the building itself. The patio area used to walk to the room floods when it rains. There's no way around the water, you have to step on it or hop skotch around it. This made leaving and coming back into the apartment very inconvenient as my shoes/flip flops would be drenched. I stayed during the tropical storm so it was particularly bad for a few days.
Overal the experience was ok.
The host was very prompt with responses and courtesy reminders. I had no issues getting the keys or getting into the room.
The title "Block from Beach King Bed RM207A" is very appropriate.
"Block from Beach" This is the only superb thing about this room. It's very close to the beach, diamond head and the other Waikiki hotels.
"King Bed" Yup, it's not an apartment, it's not a room, it's a bed. Doesn't have much else. A couple dishes under the sink, a small fridge, and a bathroom. There are two small windows near the door looking north (away from beach) toward a parking lot and other apts.
"RM207A" One number in a long list numbers: one room in a large building of rooms. The hallways are dirty, the stairwells are officially closed due to vandalism, notes in the elevator hint at problems with other tenants.
So far my review is simply that the room is mediocre. It's not a cute small room in a neat apartment building, but nobody said it would be. In that sense, it's advertised like a 3-star room and it felt like a 3-star room so it should get 3-star review.
I'm leaving only 2 stars because of flooding during 3 or 4 rain showers during my visit. It would rain briefly in the evening, but large, unnavigable pools water would form in front of the elevator bank and directly in front of room 207A. The pool in front of the room would last nearly all day because there's no sunlight on that side of the building. After the first night, I thought, "OK, well maybe it rained a lot." After the second time, I thought, "I should call the host, he seemed responsive." But what was there to do in response? It seems like a major flaw in the building. I didn't have time during my visit to spend on the phone in a potential back and forth with hosts, supers, and custodians. I let be. My shoes got wet.
This room has perfect location with just a 2 minute walk to Waikiki beach. Shopping is not much farther than that as well.
It was easy to find and get access to the room. The room itself is clean and spacious. Bathroom is of good size. I felt very comfortable in this apartment.
This place was exactly what I wanted...two short blocks to the beach (real close)...short walk to grocery store....quiet, clean, and supplied with cooking hardware....not deluxe but suited me fine...price and location can't be (email hidden)t a lot of natural light or view but just step outside and u got it all...I was there for the surf....I would recommend ...u will want to spend all your day light time outside...still perfect for me....
