Great location, nice decor
We stayed for 6 nights.
The Location's great but since it's in the middle of Waikiki it can be noisy during the night.
The room is clean and has everything you need during a short stay. Only thing "missing"'s a window with view, but probably can't have that in Waikiki for this price.
But note that parking is expensive (not 16$ but $20$ per 24h, and they WILL tow it if you forget to recharge our ticket)
We had a great time!Thank you,Roger!
We stayed for few nights and found this place conveniently located to everything in Waikiki. It's just slightly larger than your average hotel room, but it had everything you need for a short stay. The place was clean and well-maintained by the owner.
The room is small but cute and very clean. Very close to Waikiki beach (1 min walking) and the most famous hotels. There is only one problem: no windows...
But if I will return, I certanly go there!
The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and all the action. The place is clean and quiet and the bed is very comfortable. Parking can be a bit tight but this is Waikiki.
I am very happy about my experience at this vacation home. The vacation home was a clock radio away from being a hotel room. The room was designed was well thought out with a Feng Shui themeThe property is located 2 blocks from the beach and main area of Waikiki. The mangers of the property are very friendly. A tour service office is located right next store to the property incase you you want to be advertures. The experience did not come without any downfalls. When we arrived at the property it was a bit of an eye sore because of funiture that was left outside on the lawn of the property. When we arrived at the room, the patio ( the entrance to the vacation home) was filled with bird poop. It doesn't look likes it been clean for a few weeks. I found a few hairs in the sheets so i made sure to wash the sheets in the laundromat located on the first floor. The floor and funiture was dusty. I had to clean to feel totally comfertable. Also, the showerhead made a weird sound whenever it was turned on. Ultimately, I would definately book this vacation home again.
The Apartment is clean, but in the Night it is very Loud and noisy.
Our place of stay was changed less than five days before our booked stay so we ended up in another of Roger's condos in the Island Colony building on Seaside. This apparently was an upgrade although just having an extra bed we didn't need didn't seem much of an improvement.
The room was pleasant and very clean. It had a great lanai which overlooked the Ala Wai canal, and had a peek a boo view of Diamond Head and the ocean. The location was fine, just a few blocks from the ocean, grocery store, etc. The biggest disappointment was the refrigerator which didn't work. It was replaced after two days of our three day stay which took away from the possibility of preparing meals ourselves. And when told it would be replaced between certain hours, we felt we needed to vacate and take all valuables as we didn't know Roger or the installation people. Only to return 20 mins. after the designated installation time to find the old fridge in the middle of the kitchen and having to leave again while they came with the new one. Roger said there would be some kind of compensation for the inconvenience, but so far we haven't received any.
