Interaction with Guests
We are happy to socialize with guests and help them learn about area attractions, and happy to share evening time around the campfire or drinks as the sun sets. Or if you prefer total privacy, that's fine too, we can just meet you when you come in and wish you well when you leave. We enjoy all the interesting people we've met through Air BnB.
Bragg Hill in Waitsfield/Fayston is one of the most picturesque areas in Vermont, with majestic views of Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, and lots of great hiking and biking. We are 1/4 mile from Waitsfield Village and are neighbors to Green Mountain Valley School and Center for Whole Communities. The neighborhood is all wooded lots, and all the lots around our property are vacant/forested areas. There's very little road traffic, a very peaceful and quiet place. The Airstream is parked in our front yard, close to the house next to our driveway. The position and the set up gives you total privacy.
The Mad Bus runs by our property on weekends in the winter, but summer public transit is limited.
Other Things to Note
The kitchen is fully stocked with basic cooking equipment, spices, french press, coffee, tea, ice cubes, cold water.
We have abundant amazing spring water from our artesian well and are happy to provide as much of this delicious mineral water as our guests would like.
No smoking of any kind allowed inside the Airstream. You are welcome to smoke on the outside patio. We can start a fire in the fire pit in evenings for you. We ask that trash and recycling are kept in the proper receptacles and we can empty out your compost bin for you. Please respect our privacy and turn down loud music and voices after midnight. No pets inside the Airstream.
What a great place and a great couple! We arrived a bit late, but still very well cared for, and with excellent communication before our arrival. The town is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay,
We had the best time staying in the air stream. State of the art . Every thing you could want is there. So much fun! Great kitchen, sleeping space and shower and bath but best of all we're our hosts. Jasna and Gaelan are the best. Very helpful and right there to answer any questions. We couldn't say enough great things about our whole experience. Just great!!! Thanks so much Browns
The homeowners made us feel extremely welcome in their Airstream. The trailer truly is in their front yard, but it didn't bother us because it made the host so accessible. You also don't notice that you are in their front yard because the area to lounge in outside faces the road and the woods. The trailer is on a nice, quiet street close to the center of Waitsfield which provided close access to the grocery store and anything else we needed. All the cooking equipment we needed was right in the Airstream and we didn't eat a single meal out while staying there over 2 days. The was also some excellent hiking close by and we had a great hike up Camels Hump which was about a 20-30 minute drive from the trailer. We were able to use the hiking books and maps they keep in the trailer which was very handy. The hosts built us a fire one evening and were always easily reached whenever we needed anything, we would highly recommend them.
The Airstream was excellent! Twin beds were so comfy, kitchen had everything we needed and was very cute, nice pullout living room seating for watching a dvd, and the sitting area outside the camper was private and delightful with torches and potted herbs to use in our cooking. We ended up staying in and cooking much more often that we thought we would because it was so fun and relaxing. Jasna and her family are nice hosts and the town has many great features like swimming holes, waterfalls, farms and farmers market, local meat and veggies, and a creative, friendly atmosphere.
Such a great spot! We fit two adults and four kids in airstream ( 10, 8, 6. 2.5 ).... Plenty of room. Inside has been kept in great shape. Love the firepit and star gazing! Jasna et al made us feel right at home
We loved our time here. Comfortable and fun, the Airstream was the perfect home base for our Vermont adventures.
We had planned on going out to dinner each night and decided to stay put after each day's activities because we enjoyed the atmosphere in the trailer and around it so much. From the perfect little kitchen, covered candlelit patio, Airstream-wide stereo system, and prepared fire pits - we couldn't ask for anymore and wanted to maximize our time enjoying it.
An unexpected bonus was how much fun we had hanging with Jasna and her family. We plan on returning.
The hosts were absolutely wonderful, just like the airstream. I traveled by myself and felt like family. They informed me of all of the events going on around the neighborhood and invited me out. They gave me great instructions on what to do and were always available. I must go back! For the airstream, it was amazing. I never once felt like I lacked any luxuries. The bed was very comfortable and I had everything I needed, including a little outside patio they had set up. It was amazing, way better than any experience I could have imagined!
About the Host, Jasna
Fun loving, traveler. I like to explore places through it's people, cuisine and music. I think food is a great connector of people and I enjoy cooking for others, finding special local ingredients that teach about history and culture of a place. My family and I have traveled together to many places around the world, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Chile. Traveling brings us closer together and allows us to grow and learn together. We love meeting new people and that is why we love Airbnb.
