Available for your stay in New York is the beautiful master bedroom of a 3 bedroom apartment on the cusp of the historic Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, and Downtown neighborhoods. Our home - occupied by creative professionals - welcomes you to take your coat off and stay a while. At a massive 500+ square feet of space to this bedroom alone, there is plenty of area to get comfortable, stretch out, read, unwind, wake up with some yoga, paint, write your masterpiece. . . or whatever else strikes your fancy.
With tons of natural light (Three windows! Count them!) and vibrant colors, the room is perfect for being inspired and setting the stage for your new love affair with Brooklyn - but don't worry, there are heavy blackout curtains in place, so you can get the kind of quiet, restful sleep that you need. Sleeping in is definitely not a problem.
The space is perfect for a couple planning a romantic vacation, small groups of travelers, or any person who desires lots of peace, solitude, and privacy.
If you're here to get down to work, you'll be pleased to find two full-sized desks in the room to switch back and forth from (I like to pace), and a very nice Herman Miller Aeron chair, which is more than kind to your back.
There is one full bed and one sofa located in the room - at request, an air mattress can be made available for your stay. Clean linens and towels are included.
Now, let's talk about location, location, location: simply put, folks - it doesn't get any better than this. You know that romantic, tree-lined, everything-is-right image of New York that you only hear about in old Bob Dylan songs and Woody Allen movies? Well, this part of town has that magic charm, and it's authentic. Aside from the short walk to the beautiful Brooklyn Heights Promenade, dozens of parks, or the Brooklyn Bridge, we are located at the best transit junction in BK:
The 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, F, G, & R trains are all less than a five-minute walk away, and a plethora of buses are at your disposal. No matter where you want to go in Manhattan or BK, it's most likely less than 10-15 minutes away. (One of our residents commutes to SoHo daily - a 10 minute trip from the time you walk out of the front door!)
Don't even get me started on the unlimited supply of any kind of fantastic food you can imagine. (I'll be glad to provide you with a map of neighborhood greats.)
For entertainment, the living room houses a large 55" television and entertainment system perfect for watching Netflix or playing games. Additionally, we've got ultra-high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the premises.
Like to cook? The kitchen is great - more space than most in the city - with plenty of cookware, and space to store your groceries . . . and guess what? The King of Hip grocery stores, Trader Joes, is just 3 blocks down the street.
Want to get your Zen on with some yoga? A premium Manduka mat is in the room, and there's more than enough space to stretch. Additionally, a weight set is in the room.
Interested? I'd love to hear from you! Please reach out with any questions you may have about our home - and if you have any special requests, don't be afraid to ask!
- No pets.
- We are a smoke-free home. There is a fire escape that you're welcome to climb out on, if you don't want to walk downstairs. (Shhh, don't tell anyone!)
- Please remove your shoes at the door. NYC can be filthy outside, and I promise you'll have a much more enjoyable stay when the place stays clean.
- We recycle. Please help us out by putting trash in the proper bins. Further, please put all food-related trash in the kitchen bin - not in the bedroom.
- Please take responsibility for any dishes or kitchen items you use.
- Please turn off lights / appliances when they are not in use, and lock the door upon leaving the apartment.
- Please do not leave windows open when you leave the house.
- Let your host know in advance if you'd like to have guests over - Please DO NOT bring strangers into our home without speaking with us first. This is for everyone's safety.
Beautiful place and a really cool guy! Can't go wrong, especially with the location.
Very nice stay at Anthony's place, the room is really big and super comfortable. Apartment's location is perfect, very close to a LOT of metro lines going straight to every place in Manhattan, commute was really fast ! Anthony was also very helpful to discover the neighborhood (Smith street is so nice !). Thanks a lot !
Anthony was really helpful and flexible with my stay. Everything went smooth and his roommates were as nice as him. I would comeback and highly recomend booking his room.
Had a great time in NY and the place was exactly as described. Thanks again!
Great location, great apartment and a lovely host! We would also like to thank Anthony's neighbors Tyler & Chuck for their hospitality and tips. We will be coming back here!
Well appointed and comfortable room at a great location in Brooklyn. Hosts were helpful in getting me situated.
I have totally enjoyed my stay here from the first minute to the last. It was so nice to come home from a day in the city to find Anthony and other like-minded artists to hang out with, chill and exchange ideas. The room is huge, quiet, and well equipped for a digital nomad like me. I will definitely return here.

Hi there, I'm Anthony.
I'm a musician, a writer, and business owner with a passion for travel, unexpected conversations with former strangers, and perfecting my chili recipe. I'm an anti-boxthinker, prefer to juxtapose rather than contradict, and like making lemonade out of spilt milk.
I'm very much into backpacking, the outdoors, creative business ideas, existential literature, and all kinds of interesting music - especially live.
I've had the opportunity to live all over the place, and as such have learned the value and peace that one can receive from maintaining a clean and serene home, and whenever possible, I like to share that. Please reach out with any questions about my apartment, and don't hesitate if you have interesting proposals a la housing swaps.
