My little house is very handy for walking to town centre, its fairly small but cosy, basic décor but suits me well. If looking for luxury this is not the place for you but if looking for a 'home from home' hopefully you will feel comfortable here.

The space

Comfortable house, lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms. Sleeps 4, 1 double bed & 2 singles. All bedding & towels provided. Cot/high chair available on request. Lovely views from bedroom, gardens, decking and off street parking 1 car

Cosy and comfortable semi-detached house. Quiet residential area near all amenities. Short walk to Village square, shops, restaurants, pubs, play park,Leisure centre etc.
A walk downhill towards the beautiful scenic harbour and Portree Bay where you will be able to watch the Fishermen at work on their boats or maybe enjoy a boat trip around the bay.

Access is to the whole house and garden/decking areas. The property will be for your private use during your stay.

I am not usually about when Guests arrive, however full directions and access arrangements will be given and I can be contacted by email or phone anytime before or during the stay. My Friend who live close by will also be available to answer any questions. I will have an information folder in the lounge with a short basic script, telephone numbers, places to eat, what to do with household waste, glass recycling etc. T.V. and satellite info and Wi-Fi codes. Local maps and info about 'whats on'.

Lovely quiet area and close to Centre of the Town and Harbour. Great views towards the bay and mountains from double bedroom window.

Downhill towards Town Square where you can catch a bus to other parts of the Island - or further afield to Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh (and all places in between)

Open fire in the lounge. Fuel can be purchased locally but is not provided. Travel cot and highchair available for small child. The beds will be freshly made for you arriving, towels made available, toilet rolls, soap, shampoo left for using.
Please help yourselves to any tea, coffee, condiments, cereal, biscuits etc. that are in cupboards. There are pots, pans and cooking utensils and cutlery, however if you need anything else please ask! The washing machine and tumble dryer are for using - *please note there is no dishwasher* . Garden chairs and parasol are in front porch.

Guest access

All garden areas are free to use. Washing can be hung outside on washing lines and clothes pegs are in kitchen.

Brought up in the Village of Portree - lived and worked in several areas of Scotland. Bought the flat in 2006, love to stay as often as I can however with work commitments that isn't easy. I love travel and usually stay in self catering accommodation - airbnb is such a great idea. The site is new to me but I hope to stay in many of the properties on this site over the next while.
