Ottima per rilassarsi.
L'unica regola della casa e il buon senso e il rispetto delle cose altrui e degli altri.
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Vacanze Amabile very much! Rinaldo was so pleasant and cheerful, we felt like we were friends immediately! The apt was so clean, modern, and very lovely! There were even toys and books for our little grandchildren, which was definitely a plus! I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Rinaldo! I hope we can come back again!
The house is big, spacious and really comfortable. The place is beautifull. Rinaldo was really helpfull with us. We have some troubles with wifi and he try to fix it quickly. Its a good place to go and stay.
The host was really helpful and nice. The house was clean and spacious. We had a great time. Thanks Rinaldo!
I don’t know about St. Francis (of Assisi), but I do know that Rinaldo can perform miracles!
We were lost getting to his place. I sent Rinaldo a text telling him where we were and that we were lost. I then sort of figured out at least a direction to go, so we got back on the highway and took the next exit. To figure out our next move, I pulled over. The car in front of us also pulled over. Then a man got out of the car and walked towards ours. “Sarah?”, he asked, as I rolled down the window. “Si!”, I replied. “Piacere. Rinaldo!” the man said.
So, Rinaldo the miracle worker led us to the apartment. First note: get good directions if you're staying there! In our experience, even if (website hidden) Maps or Apple Maps can find the location in Italy, they will give you directions by street name (not unreasonably!). The only thing is, it’s pretty hit-or-miss whether the Italian roads actually have street signs. And it’s less likely in the countryside, where Rinaldo’s place is.
We were there for only one night, but it was great. The place is about equidistant between Assisi and Spello (10-15 minutes) and Bevagna is just a little farther. Perugia and Spoleto are also easy drives (30-45 minutes). It would be a great place to stay, especially for a family (there is plenty of room and the price is right!), while exploring the area.
The place is on the ground floor of a 3-storey building. I think there are other apartments on the other floors. Two bedrooms: one with a queen-sized bed, one with two singles. (The singles seemed to be "kid-sized", so if you're putting adults in there, you might want to check on the length.) There’s a pull-out couch in the living room. There are some kids' games, stuffed animals and toys, which my daughters appreciated very much. I note that the photos showed a red kitchen; ours was a pale yellow, but modern as well.
Rinaldo is a very professional host: he provided clear notices on how to access the wifi, as well as a very convenient sheet with his contact numbers and all the emergency numbers. If you need anything, or any information, you can just call or text him.
The place is reasonably large. The only slight downside is the decor - it’s a bit dated - but other than that, it was a good place with a fantastic host. It was very clean, and Rinaldo even left us water and orange juice in the fridge and milk in the cupboard (yes, that’s how it’s done in Italy!). The kitchen had everything you would need to stay for a week.
The countryside surrounding the apartment is very peaceful with lots of birds. There is an outdoor dining table with an umbrella, with an amazing view of Assisi! I definitely recommend this apartment.
