: Should you wish to bring laptops /tablets, although not needed, but have in mind we only have limited power outlets. There is WIFI in the area but sometimes unstable. Network signal for regular calls and texts is intermittent.

Guest access
Farm is located in Barangay Sac-on, Carmen Cebu, 42km from central Cebu City about 2 hours travel (average traffic). 10km from Carmen town / National Highway, 30minute drive of uphill & downhills, will pass by a shallow spillway & a single-lane rough road experience before arriving.

COMMUTE:
From airport, ride a bus to SM City Cebu.
Ride a bus from SM Cebu's bus terminal and get off at Carmen Public Market then ride a habal2x going up to brgy. Sac-on.

PRIVATE VEHICLE:
Any vehicles as long capable to go uphill long roads are recommended. Low sports vehicles are discouraged. When it rains or if the road is wet a 4WD is recommended as there are steep & rough portions that is a bit challenging.

VAN RENTAL
For hassle free stay, guests have the option to be picked up at the city or airport and transported to the farm at certain charges. Other stops & visits during the stay can also be arranged. The property owners is an Architect & an Interior Designer by profession with a passion in farming and sustainable living. Feel free to send a message for inquiries.

A google map link will be provided to a booked Guest/s for reference. The Farm has 4 open parking slots outside the premises, street parking is also possible up to 2 vehicles.

Other things to note
GARBAGE FEE:
A garbage fee of 1,000.00 will be collected upon your arrival. This is refundable if you will bring your non biodegradable waste with you upon check-out. Only biodegradable ('Malata') waste is allowed within the farm premises. We will greatly appreciate it if you bring your trash with you upon check-out.

NON-AIRCON STAY:
Given the location's elevation of 550 meters above sea level and the average night time temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, plus mostly being cooled by tree canopies during daytime, we wanted to take advantage and grab what mother nature has to offer in this natural environment, allowing her natural breeze on one's skin. The villa is equipped with screens which help keep bugs out. We promote a non-air-conditioned stay to reduce our carbon footprint one night at a time. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

CAN GUESTS COOK: Guests can cook butane (can bring or rent). We have basic kitchen utensils. Must bring own food containers or trays for large dishes. Cooking is only allowed at the common kitchen and not inside the Villa.

SERVICE WATER: Filtered spring water for drinking. There's no bottled water for sale.
REFRIGERATOR & MICROWAVE: There's a 3 cubic mini fridge at the Villa
GRILL AREA: There's a designated grilling area, you can bring your own charcoal & condiments
SMORES FOR BONFIRE: Bring your own ingredients. There are smores sticks provided in the villa.
INTERNET CONNECTION & NETWORK SIGNAL: There's Starlink internet (often dependent on weather condition). Globe network is better at the location, although at certain open spots only.

PRENUPS / PHOTOSHOOTS: We don't have special package or rates for prenups or photoshoot. You may avail the Accommodation package which grants you access to the farm. In line with this, since you will have crews (photographers, MUA, stylist,etc) coming along, we only charge them 150 per head as entry fee only.

VISITORS: A fixed rate of 150.00 (crew/staff) will be charged as an Entry Fee per head and should be up to 8pm only. If will use the amenity, a separate day use rate will be charged. If your Visitor/s will stay over 8pm charges will be at full rate as an additional overnight staying Guest.

CANCELATION/REBOOKING POLICY:
*Full refund for cancelations or rebooking made within 48 hours of confirmed booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away.
*50% refund for cancelations or rebooking made at least 7 days before check-in.
*No refund for cancelations or rebooking made within 7 days of check-in.
For Force Majeure situations, date of stay may be moved to a later available date.

SENIOR OR WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY: Walkways are a combination of ramp and steps due to its sloping terrain. From parking and gate, about 100 meters to the villa. More walking as well within the premises for other amenities. Balay Aninipot Villa has own private toilet and bath. Not wheelchair friendly as pathways are combined with steps.

KIDS HEADCOUNT: Yes kids are included in the headcount within the 4 pax capacity. 3 years old and below are free of charge, provided they share beds / setups with an adult.

PETS: Pets are allowed in the Farm however guests are solely responsible for the safety and control of their pet/s. Sometimes there are stray dogs & cats that make their way inside the fence, please do not play & feed them for your own safety. In consideration to other Guests coming in the next day, Strictly no pets are allowed swimming in the pool.

Neighborhood highlights

The property was an agricultural farmland years ago by the nearby residents. The nearest house and mini store is around 200 meters away from the property. A 190 meter long side of the property is connected to a single lane driveway going to another mountain Barangay of Lanipga, hence vehicle noises can be heard from time to time.

The farm is located directly at the back of the Cebu Safari & Adventure Park. The property is surrounded with communities & green forests mountains although sometimes neighboring karaoke can be heard during special events or weekends.

Hi! I am your host Marvin with my life partner Sheryl. We are both passionate from designing to building unique & cozy spaces in our main line of work as an Architect & an Interior Designer. Aside from Design & Build consultancy, we are as well very much passionate in Permaculture, natural farming & lifestyle wellness as the focus. Our family and friends appreciate and felt really good after staying in these spaces that we built as a result of combining our different passions. And now we are happy to let you know that we are sharing with you our personal space, to be able to share the experience of the beauty and appreciation of being in nature. It took us a couple of years to conceptualize and study its feasibility, before we finally decided to build something and develop the land, whenever we get the chance to do so during weekends while at the same time taking a break from our main line of work.The weekend project we developed ourselves, and of course with the help and manpower of some of the locals in the barangay. For us and the family, it's a life changing experience being able to be one with nature away from the hustle of city life.
