Bright, colorful home with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Available during OR. Just 2 miles from the Salt Palace. Easy to walk, take the bus half way or ride a bike.
You'll have the house to yourselves. The house is 10 minutes from the airport, 2 miles from downtown, 1 mile to the FrontRunner station and to Trax, 2 blocks from the Smiths grocery store, 7 blocks from the Red Iguana.
It has 1 queen bed, 1 double futon, 1 twin bed, 1 crib, and 1 queen air mattress, and a chicken coop :)
3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, TV and DVD player, 3 bathrooms, deck, garden, 1 baby's room with crib.
Interaction with Guests
Available via cell phone for any questions or concerns. We'll be taking our dog with us, so no need to babysit him :) The chickens are quite friendly though and quite entertaining to watch-in their coop.
An old neighborhood with much diversity just a bit west of downtown.
Two trax lines are 1.2 miles from our home. One to the airport which is then only about 10 min to the airport. The Frontrunner, Amtrak, Greyhound, and Central Station are about 1 mile from us. A bus (509) stops right outside our house.
Other Things to Note
We are non-smokers and do not allow smoking in the house.
Please make yourself at home. Recycle and compost when appropriate. Turn the lights out and lock the door when you leave.
So welcoming! Josie and her family made me feel right at home. Was traveling with my dog who also loved the place and their cattle doggie. Thank you for a great stop on my way from Denver to CA. Oh and that Red Iguana place around the corner is DELISH!!
Very welcoming hosts- especially considering our last-minute booking. Simple but comfortable accommodations. My 10-yr-old daughter enjoyed having a friendly dog and a toddler to play with. Easy walk to parks and a supermarket (plus some taquerias that I would have liked to check out). This was our first experience with AirBNB and we're hooked.
The house is in the great location. Easy to go to downtown area. Although I met Josie and Eddie for a short period, they are also very friendly and welcome. They recommended such a good place to have dinner. Their dog, Willy, is awesome.
The things I think should be improved is the tidiness. Also the shower in their private bathroom was a bit strange position; however, that was not a big deal. Eddie offer me to use the other bathroom which is OK.
We had a good stay with Josie and Eddie. Our dogs had such a great time playing together. Very sweet, warm family. Thanks for the overnight place to crash!
We only stayed with Josie for one night, but her home and family were lovely! Exactly as described, and they gave us some great recommendations for where to eat. Would definitely stay with her again.
Friendly hosts with a cute small home. Location is 5 mins from downtown. A+
We hung out and had some drinks and discussed SLC life. Beautiful deck out back. The bedroom and bathroom are cramped.
For the price a great location and value.
I just finished school at the University of Utah in SLC to be a nurse practitioner. The hubs is a nurse as well. We have a little old boy who is super smiley. We love to travel and try to stay with friends but sometimes there's need to make new friends when we don't have a connection in an area. We hope to host and be hosted often!
