It was very inexpensive and set up for people to spend the night. The room is very small but suitable if you need a bed to sleep on. The host very kindly knocked on my door and reminded me that I left my car lights on - it was very appreciated.
Greta was extremely helpful and responsive. I asked her many different questions regarding transportation, sightseeing, etc through Airbnb chats, and she answered all the questions fast and accurately. I personally found the location very inconvenient, because I had to hop on the bus every time I had to get to the Reykjavik city center, but the direction is clear and it is not too difficult to get there. The facility itself was actually worse than I expected. The pillow and bed linen were stained. The bathroom condition, in my opinion, was sub-par. But because the price of this is so low, so it is understandable.
Very hard to find following provided directions. I was almost lost at midnight but the room itself is cosy and nice. Good place to sleep one night
It's was too small room and wasn't real kitchen. Just norrow corridor. I couldn't cook.
Simply perfect. Really nice and cosy little place. It makes the whole Iceland experience enjoyable
Very nice apartment, small but clean and quiet. My hosts were *tremendously* accommodating and helpful, especially when I forgot for which night I booked their room(showing up the day before) and let me stay anyways, as fortunately the room was still unbooked. Greta made sure I had everything i needed, chatted a bit, and then mostly left me to myself, which was what i wanted anyways. The neighborhood is a modest one, but conveniently located and you can see the northern lights practically from their doorstep, weather permitting. I almost forgot to look for them, but thankfully Greta notified me that they were visible one night when I was still there. It was pretty cool to just walk outside and be able to see them. Anyways, I had a lovely time staying here, and would recommend it to any looking for comfy, clean, and affordable lodging.
