Helen put out flags and lanterns to welcome us in the middle of the night. She was a lovely host and made us very welcome and was on hand for everything we needed (not that we needed anything). The house was absolutely perfect in every way: amazing location which was peaceful with a lovely outlook, beautifully presented, a lovely garden for eating out. Really convenient to shops in Humble and beach 2km down the lane. Highly recommended if you're looking for true Danish rural tranquillity. If you're considering it just book.
We had 2 very enjoyable weeks in Helen's cottage in Langeland. It is a perfect combination of traditional charm, modern conveniences and eclectic decor. We have two young children aged 8 and 5 and were never short of something to do with them. There are several beaches nearby and plenty of other places to visit too, we particularly enjoyed Skovsgård, the landscape art in Tranekær Castle Park and seeing the wild horses down in the south at Dovns Klint. Helen is a kind and considerate host.
Perfect accommodation !
Thank you very much Helen for being a perfect Host!
