Located in one of Southern California's safest and quietest neighborhoods, this newly remodeled non-smoking upstairs duplex, above the garage, offers 2 bedrooms: master bedroom has a CAL-King sized bed, the second bedroom has a Queen sized bed and an additional twin bed can be setup on request in master bedroom. We can also provide a baby crib/bed or small child's bed.
*** Please note that nightly base pricing is based on 2 persons in 1 bed, 2 guests in 2 beds, 3 guests in 3 beds or the use of our crib/baby bed or child's bed is charged an extra $10 per bed per night.*** We can accommodate up to 4 adults and 1 child/infant. Please ask if any questions.
The full bathroom has an enclosed tub/shower, a large lighted vanity mirror and heat lamp. Bathroom towels, washcloths, paper goods and Dove soap are provided.
The eat-in kitchen has a gas range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. All pots, pans and utensils needed for making any meal, and the plates and cutlery to help consume it, are provided. Dish soap, towels and paper goods are also provided.
The living room is comfortable with a large armchair and sofa. Watch Cable TV, access WiFi DSL or look out a picture window into a canopy of oak trees with the foothills in the distance.
A laundry room with a clothes washer (detergent provided) and clothes dryer are included downstairs. And a patio with table and chairs makes a great spot to eat al fresco and enjoy the great year-round California weather.
If you're looking to grab a quick bite out, a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, McDonalds, The Flame Broiler, Wrap Express and 2 other food establishments are less than 2 minutes by car. Many more fine restaurants in Glendale and Montrose/La Cañada are less than 10 minutes away by car, and several offer delivery. A number of grocery stores, including Trader Joes and Whole Foods Market, and a weekly farmers' market are also only minutes away by car.
Also a few minutes away are Glendale Community College, the Glendale Convention Center, Verdugo Hills Country Club, Verdugo Park and the internationally renowned Descanso Gardens.
The home has central heat and a large in-wall air conditioning unit. In addition, there are 3 ceiling fans, 2 smaller portable fans and wall-to-wall carpeting.
The beautiful shared back yard has a dining area just for you. Nature is all around you , keep a look out for our resident birds, rabbits, deer and squirrels.
Off-street parking is provided and an additional permit for street parking is available with a deposit.
Access to the 2 Freeway is simple and close by on Mountain Street; from the 2 you can reach much of Southern California with ease. And should you choose not to drive, bus lines are within easy reach.
Secure access to the property is through a keyless entry with a customized code for each guest

We had a nice stay at this home. The unit was bright, clean, and comfortable and had all the basic necessities. We didn't spend much time in the neighborhood but it was safe and the neighbors were very nice as well. Mark was very proactive in communication and also extremely responsive over the phone/text about any questions that we ever had. We had a couple of things come up at the last minute and he assisted us or addressed the issue right away.
Mark's apartment is very nice and convenient. When I had questions, he was very responsive and helpful.
It was a great experience, the apartment is exactly as seen in the pictures or even better. The views and the atmosphere are way over the top. Mark was a wonderful help and accomadated every single need we had. Thank you Mark and Lisa!
Stayed here for two weeks as a temporary base for a move into LA. As it turned out I got so comfortable in Glendale that I became quite sad when it became time to move on. Mark was very attentive during my stay. Would recommend to friends and family.
Mark was an excellent host. Electronic security doors were convenient and allowed me to check in late at night. Neighborhood is quiet and I felt safe leaving my car in the driveway. Great communication, and he even sent me a detailed text with a few instructions before my arrival. Unit was clean and tidy (which is very important to me). Wifi worked without any problems. Some banging in the morning due to renovations next door, but it didn't really bother me, and they're almost done so future guests should not have any issues. A nice touch was the stack of nearby restaurant menus, which I put to good use. Top notch! Would stay with them again!
