Angel's place was perfect -- kitschy cool decor, comfy place, and a great host with great recommendations. We had a blast staying here and was able to walk and Lyft out way around the city without any issues.
This place was great! We had a lovely time - the bikes made it easy to get around so we didn't need a car at all, and Angel's home is clean and spacious, just as described. Would definitely recommend.
My boyfriend and I booked our first Airbnb with Angel after scoring cheap plane tickets to Austin for a long weekend and are so glad we did. Angel was a great hostess. She was welcoming but not overbearing, check-in and check-out was easy and the room was comfy, clean and a great deal. We mostly ate out so we didn't use the kitchen much, but it looked like a solid setup if you wanted to cook. She has a nice patio too.
We liked the neighborhood a lot as well. The corner Angel's house is on is quiet, so we slept well. We didn't rent a car and found that we were able to walk to most places that we wanted to explore.
We loved Austin and are already talking about going back some day. We'd absolutely stay with Angel again.
Angel was a great hostess. She made things very easy for us, including the check-in/out process and use of her bikes to explore the great neighborhood she lives in. Her house is precious and so are her chickens!
Angel is an amazon host. I would recommend her place to anyone wanting to stay in east austin. The decor of her place is awesome and really makes you feel like you are at home.
Angel was a lovely host and the location can't be beat! So close to so many wonderful restaurants and boutiques. Definitely take advantage of the bikes, it's the best way to get around Austin!

I love sharing my home with friends and strangers alike. I've lived in Austin for 13 years and am happy to point you to spots off the beaten path (Cathedral of Junk) to the sparkling jewels in the middle of the city (Barton Springs). I'm a User-Experience Designer for a Clean Tech/Energy Management start-up. I love the challenge and rewards of conserving in all aspects of life. I enjoy bike riding, brewing and drinking craft beer, gardening, petting my chickens, sewing and DIY projects, seeing live music, traveling, and eating great food. I've only been to 13 countries and 25 states. I most recently spent a few months in Hawaii living off grid on a living farm that is doing reforestation on the Big Island.
