House Rules

I'm flexible with check-in and check-out but prefer the typical times 2 pm/11am.

If you borrow the bikes you must sign a waiver. Bikes must be locked up when not attended to. I provide bike locks and helmets.

House is quiet after 10 pm but we are open to having late night guests or even impromptu dance parties in the living room.

We loved staying in Angel's place - it's very comfortable, well decorated, and in a great location. Angel made checking in very easy. Would recommend.

Perfect location if you like the Eastside, with the 12th and Chicon, E. SIxth, Webberville and Caesar Chavez haunts all very accessible with the (provided) bikes. But downtown, Southside and Westside all easily reachable as well. After all, what's the hurry? A great place to stay.

Angel is a superb host and her house is adorable. Not having to eat out every morning is an absolute blessing and Angel had an array of food options. The location is residential and quiet, but within walking distance to a bunch of great food and coffee spots. We weren't driving so having these and bus stops close by meant a lot and Angels reccomendations were spot on. We didn't walk around the neighborhood at night, but car services to and from points of interest were very reasonable.

The home was clean and our host was very welcoming. The neighborhood felt safe and it was pretty quiet during all hours. Getting downtown from the house was no trouble at all, and pretty inexpensive and fast via the usual ride-share apps. The interior of the house was so cute! We loved staying here.

Nice house, though the bed is a bit narrow for two.

I love sharing my home with friends and strangers alike. I've lived in Austin for 13 years and am happy to point you to spots off the beaten path (Cathedral of Junk) to the sparkling jewels in the middle of the city (Barton Springs). I'm a User-Experience Designer for a Clean Tech/Energy Management start-up. I love the challenge and rewards of conserving in all aspects of life. I enjoy bike riding, brewing and drinking craft beer, gardening, petting my chickens, sewing and DIY projects, seeing live music, traveling, and eating great food. I've only been to 13 countries and 25 states. I most recently spent a few months in Hawaii living off grid on a living farm that is doing reforestation on the Big Island.
