  • We only stayed at Angel's for one night and met her just briefly, but everything was organized wonderfully. She is an expert airbnb host. Thanks Angel!!

  • Angel was a very lovely and welcoming host. She communicated with us well in advance our stay and made us feel at home on our arrival. The room was clean , tidy and perfect -exactly as the photos advertised on air bnb. The house was spotless and decorated with some fantastic art! Angel's home was also in the best location we could ask for , central to everything - she is literally within 10 mins drive from everything in Austin ( airport , shopping , restaurants , wholefoods) etc which was fantastic . We would definitely stay here again as Angel was the perfect host .

  • This was my very first airbnb experience and one that will keep me an airbnb traveler for sure. My boyfriend and I stayed for one night. Angel is super friendly and was a great host. The house was very neat and clean. When we arrived Angel showed us the place and talked to us for a bit. She asked what we were interested in seeing/doing then suggested some great places to go. My boyfriend and I went out for dinner and some nightlife fun, all which was in walking distance from this location. That night I dreamt that Angel made us fried (literally fried in a frier) eggs for breakfast. When I woke up she was not frying us eggs BUT she did have fresh eggs for us in the fridge. (Fresh as in from right in the backyard). They were delicious! All around great experience. We plan to come back and stay at Angel's again, as should you!

  • Angel is such a delightful host and her home was perfect for us: comfortable, inspiring and so convenient to most of what we wanted to do in Austin. Angel was kind enough to give us some fantastic suggestions that ended up being the highlights of our visit and we loved the chance to sit down with her a couple of evenings and get to know her better. We were there for over a week and were able to do some cooking in her kitchen, which worked out perfectly. We'd absolutely stay with her again and left our trip inspired to bring some of her creative aesthetic into our own home...and maybe even get some sweet chickens!

  • As an Airbnb host myself, I'm always interested to experience other staying at other Airbnbs. This place was my top choice out of the options in Austin- it has a lot of character and I loved the bikes & chickens as amenities! Luckily Angel was able to accommodate me while I was in town for a conference, and she was a great host. I was able to bike to my conference at UT Austin every day, and explore the city by bike in my free time. Angel had great suggestions for places to eat and explore, and I also enjoyed meeting and visiting with the other guests whose stay overlapped with my last day. Overall- this place is a great find, excellent location, comfortable accommodations and a really great vibe. I definitely took home some hosting tips to apply to our place in Minneapolis. Stay here in Austin, you won't be disappointed!

  • This is a great location in Austin, just minutes from restaurants and shops. We didn't have time to use the bikes during our stay, but loved that we had access. Angel was very nice and had written a great guide with suggestions about restaurants etc. Would highly recommend staying with her!

About
I love sharing my home with friends and strangers alike. I've lived in Austin for 12 years and am happy to point you to spots off the beaten path (Cathedral of Junk) to the sparkling jewels in the middle of the city (Barton Springs). I'm a User-Experience Designer for a Clean Tech/Energy Management start-up. I love the challenge and rewards of conserving in all aspects of life. I enjoy bike riding, brewing and drinking craft beer, gardening, petting my chickens, sewing and DIY projects, seeing live music, traveling, and eating great food. I've only been to 13 countries and 25 states. I most recently spent a few months in Hawaii living off grid on a living farm that is doing reforestation on the Big Island.
