This was my very first airbnb experience and one that will keep me an airbnb traveler for sure. My boyfriend and I stayed for one night. Angel is super friendly and was a great host. The house was very neat and clean. When we arrived Angel showed us the place and talked to us for a bit. She asked what we were interested in seeing/doing then suggested some great places to go. My boyfriend and I went out for dinner and some nightlife fun, all which was in walking distance from this location. That night I dreamt that Angel made us fried (literally fried in a frier) eggs for breakfast. When I woke up she was not frying us eggs BUT she did have fresh eggs for us in the fridge. (Fresh as in from right in the backyard). They were delicious! All around great experience. We plan to come back and stay at Angel's again, as should you!
Angel is such a delightful host and her home was perfect for us: comfortable, inspiring and so convenient to most of what we wanted to do in Austin. Angel was kind enough to give us some fantastic suggestions that ended up being the highlights of our visit and we loved the chance to sit down with her a couple of evenings and get to know her better. We were there for over a week and were able to do some cooking in her kitchen, which worked out perfectly. We'd absolutely stay with her again and left our trip inspired to bring some of her creative aesthetic into our own home...and maybe even get some sweet chickens!
This was our second stay with Angel and we actually got to hang out with her some this time! We love the location and the layout of her home. There is much charm of Austin that is easily accessible.
I didn't get a chance to actually meet Angel but her house was immaculate, quirky and so comfortable to stay in. Would definitely stay there again!
This is a great location in Austin, just minutes from restaurants and shops. We didn't have time to use the bikes during our stay, but loved that we had access. Angel was very nice and had written a great guide with suggestions about restaurants etc. Would highly recommend staying with her!
Angel's apartment is really great. Angel's is a very nice host and helped us and gave us great advices. I totally recommend this place.
Angel has a very clean and comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to bars and restaurants on east 6th street. Angel knows Austin really well and gave us a number of great tips on things to do and places to go while we were in town. I highly recommend staying with Angel if you are coming to Austin for the first time as I was. This is a great place to stay!
Angel's home is conveniently located in Austin and has ample parking. It's super clean and inviting and very accommodating for a variety of needs. I'd definitely stay there again.
Angel was a great host to us our entire week in Austin. The space is lovely, and made for a homey respite after busy days of sight-seeing. Location was good, a short walk to the hip parts of East Austin and parts of downtown. Her bicycles were in working order. She embodied the "mi casa es tu casa" spirit, openly sharing basic foods, and even obtaining half and half for our coffee. She even drove me to buy medicine. The room was quaint, well decorated and heated. A lot of closet space, but no dresser to unpack your things. Our private bathroom was well-stocked, and spacious, with great water pressure in the shower. All in all, Angel was an ideal housemate for our week in town. The house makes you wish you lived there.
Angel was a great host. She was really friendly. We even met her out for a couple of drinks one night. Everything was well organized and communicated. We could easily walk to all the 6th st bars and downtown. I would recommend anyone going to Austin to stay here.
