Rae was so warm and welcoming and happy to accommodate our every need. The house was comfortable and immaculate. I would definitely stay here again!
Rae is so accommodating and friendly. I felt very welcome the entirety of my stay. She even offered to give up her own bed when the one I slept on proved a titch uncomfortable. When I refused she insisted on finding an acceptable solution. We found commonalities and engaging conversation. Enjoyable experience and a lovely little cottage.
This was a very wonderful experience at Rae's home. I rate it a 10 out of 10. The home is very peaceful and decorated beautifully in a traditional french country style (my interpretation!). There is a lot of attention to detail to make sure you feel you are in a special place here. The bed and the room was extremely comfortable. I love sleeping with a down comforter! IRae is a very hospitable host and I felt she wanted my experience here to be great. It felt very natural to be staying here. The property is also peaceful with flowers and trees and many birds visiting the yard. The neighborhood is quiet, yet just a few minutes from downtown Redmond. Redmond is an up and coming town and has nice interesting shops and places to eat. I highly recommend Rae's place if you are looking to relax in an affordable space.
We were greeted when we pulled into the driveway and made to feel welcome the entire time we were there. The house is lovely as are Rae and her daughters. Rae went the extra mile and even fixed us delicious breakfast! (Don't know if this is a regular part of the deal!) This home was a perfect base for exploring the spectacular high desert, including Mt Bachelor, the Cascade Lakes and Bend, in addition to Redmond.
Beautiful home, lovely & kind host. My family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Rae, who was friendly, attentive, and such a gracious host. Not only did we have a comfortable place to stay, but I feel like we've made a new friend. If/when we pass through Redmond/Bend again, we'll certainly stay at Rae's!
What a great experience! We arrived very late only needing a shower and bed before our early flight out of Redmond the next day. To our great surprise we were greeted as if we were family and ended up making a new friend! We will definitely return and visit Rae when we are back again in this part of the country. The accommodations are exactly as described but the hospitality was way above and beyond expectations.
The house was just as advertised: in a nice neighborhood, completely charming, quiet, and spotless. The shower was one of our favorite things. Rae was exceptionally responsive to my inquiry re: availability, and went out of her way to make my son and I comfortable. The house is small, but was all that we needed to be very comfortable.
