Rock Bottom Ranch is conveniently located half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco right off of Pacific Coast Hwy 1. It is an easy 7 minutes to San Luis Obispo's Cal Poly. The most beautiful beaches in Morro Bay area 3 miles away. The location is perfect. You will come through a private gate and nature will surround you with its beauty and serenity. Here you may see the wild turkey showcasing his feathers in his mating ritual or several deer grazing on the grass in the nearby field.

The space
The guest house is very private. It is cozy with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and full sized kitchen. There is a deck to enjoy the serene views. It is a hidden gem. The location is off the scenic coast Hwy 1 corridor. The ranch is on a gravel road covered with road base. It is just 1 minute off of Hwy 1. We have dogs on the ranch. The dogs may have access to the yard outside of this house so the no pet policy is strict. This includes service animals. This is for the safety of the pets. The maximum number of guests is not to exceed 4. Please note that this house is available for lodging only. Gatherings that exceed the maximum occupancy of this home is prohibited. The house does have a few stairs to climb, both on the outside and inside.
We live on the ranch.

Guest access
The guests will have access to the entire home, but not the ranch itself. For the privacy of the ranch tenants, there is no wandering around the ranch buildings. No hiking on the ranch.

Other things to note
Our ranch dogs are kept inside with us in our home during the night so our guests will not be disturbed by barking dogs.
There is a strict no pet policy and this includes service animals due to safety reasons.

Neighborhood highlights

This neighborhood is very special in that its location is central to many areas of our beautiful coast. We are halfway between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. It is very easy to access the wonderful places to see from this location. We are very close to Cal Poly, San Luis Obipos's quaint downtown, Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, Montane De Oro, Cayucos, Hearst Castle, Paso Robles, many vineyards, Cambria, and Morro Bay's Embarcadero. There are so many wonderful places to see and things to do on the Central Coast. We have fresh seafood, wildlife, and tons of great restaurants. Come explore!
