Interaction with Guests
I work from home so we're generally around all day and enjoy meeting and greeting our guests who are welcome to join us in our large kitchen around the table or in our living room to watch the TV. We're also happy for guests to hibernate in their rooms too - flexible either way.
This is a grand old house overlooking a college with a Swansea bay vista on one side and St James's tree lined crescent on the other.

I felt very welcome staying at Jo and Stewart's home in Swansea. I mostly saw Stewart who is a very relaxed host. He got the balance of of being solicitous without intruding perfectly. The room, and the bed, are comfortable. It has a great view of Swansea Bay. The house is large and spacious which means that you have privacy and quiet if you want it. The area of Uplands where the house is situated is very pleasant. Shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars are all within easy walking distance. This room is inexpensive and outstanding value and was a very pleasant place to stay.
From the moment I stepped in the door, Jo and family were great. She gave me a quick tour of the house as her working day was not quite done. Warm bed & shower and great views of Swansea Bay from the room... what more could you ask for. Also, their house is in an ideal location between the city centre and the Uplands area of town. She and her husband Stewart were able to recommend good places for food and a pint as well. Would gladly stay here again in the future.
The week I had in Jo, Stewart and Zach's house (+ the dogs and the cat) was great! They really made my first week in Wales a pleasure and helped me a lot to discover Swansea. It was a pleasure to stay with them and I even extended my stay without noticing it. Thank you for your Welsh hospitality !
Had a pleasant stay with Jo and family. Made to feel very welcome and given plenty of freedom around this very large house. I even shared in a bit of home cooking which was being prepared by ex chef Stuart. He knows what he is doing! Would have no problem in recommending. Many thanks

Nice, big and cozy room. The self service shelf in the kitchen was amazing. Thanks for letting me stay at you place.
Jo and her husband Stewart are delightful people. I felt completely welcome from the moment I stepped through their front door. Their house is beautiful with tonnes of character. I was able to relax over a delicious healthy breakfast each morning and chat with the other charming guests.
I would highly recommend their B and B. In fact I plan to pay nother visit in the not too distant future.

I am one half of a professional couple with a teenage boy, two dogs and a domineering cat in the mix.
Stewart, Zac and I welcome guests from around the world to stay in our home which is best described as an eclectic happy mix of shabby chic, recycled, antique and retro tastes.
