This is a fantastic location, quiet and with uninterrupted views across the bogs and lake. Cows, a horse and a donkey roam the fields and track to the house which is great with children, (be aware if walking though they and sheepdogs run free!) In the house itself is all the cooking equipment you could need and an inglenook fireplace for a roaring evening fire. While not toddler proof (a close eye is needed) a high chair, cot and plenty of toys really helped make it welcoming for the little ones to (9 months and nearly three for us). All in all a great place to relax for a few days. Be aware that you will be expected to take your rubbish to the nearest town and pay for its disposal at the end of your stay.

We loved our stay in this area and especially in this house. The views from here are fantastic! This is why people visit Ireland, and you just get that from your breakfast table when you stay here. Niamh was very responsive and always had a solution when we had a question. The place is very clean and the kitchen spacious and equipped with everything you need. I would love to come back here one day!

This house was just perfect for our family break away. Location is perfect for both Galway and connemara trips with lots to do. The house itself is much nicer in real life than in the pictures, loads of room for our gathering of six. The views outside the windows are breathtaking. Only one downfall, the Internet was not unlimited, so my teenager couldn't watch netflix, there was the option of topping up Internet credit in the shop at which we didn't avail. Thank you for having us stay at your lovely house, we all had a very enjoyable time.

Spacious home with outstanding views in a quiet, rural area only 3 miles from Outerard. Great location to explore the Galway area, Connemara National Park, 2 hours from Cliffs of Moher.

We really enjoyed our stay at your home. The view is incredible, and it was nice to get out into the quiet country side after several days of being in Dublin. Very relaxing. Your kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and gadgets one needs to make a family dinner.
