We had such a lovely experience staying in Wladimir's flat. The rooms were neat and tidy with amenities for the weary traveler. We were surprised at just how close the train station was to the apartment and had plenty of time to relax before beginning our tours around Paris. We were given resources to help us get around, maps, suggestions and so forth. Our breakfasts were delicious with views of the Eiffel tower as we ate. I would highly recommend this to any first time visitor to Paris!
Chambre et salle de bain décorées avec soin, calme, dans un appartement très agréable et lumineux.
Accueil charmant de Wladimir.
Bref un lieu idéal pour passer quelques jours à Paris.
Vladimir's place and our visit there was the highlight of our visit to Paris. Who wouldn't like his clever comments and insights into Parisian mores and interests? and he was full of ideas and suggestions for our trip (and even printed up our forgotten train ticket reservations - though I'm not sure we could have gotten away without them as he said most French could do!) The suite was very comfortable and quiet and meeting some of Vlad's old friends added greatly to our understanding and enjoyment of the French culture. We wouldn't hesitate at all to return and visit with them again.
It was a great pleasure to stay in Wladimir's apartment. It was closed to the Gare de L'east (like 3-5 min walk). The apartment is neat and tidy, and stylishly decorated as shown in the pictures. It is also very quiet.
Wladimir has prepared a very detailed information for how to get to his apartment, as well as travel around the city. It was our third time to Paris, and the recommendations of Wladimir was great. We had fun for lots of non-touristy spots. Both Wladimir and Fred, his flatmate are very nice. We already missed having breakfast with the fantastic view of Eiffel Tower from the kitchen. Highly recommended!
After a train delay, we walked from Gare du Nord to the appartment - which we could easily find thanks to the guidelines we received from Wladimir. A warm welcome in a large appartement, tastefully decorated. The room was exactely how it was described in the advertisement. We really felt at ease and welcome. Whenever we needed tips, Wladimir helped us out, from a nice place to eat, to a beautiful, unique place to visit.
As this was our first AirBnB experience, we were pleasantly surprised by the trust.
I would recommend this B&B to whomever that wants to stay near Gare du Nord/Gare de l'Est in a colourful neighbourhood, about 15 minutes walk to the "Grands Boulevards" in a superb appartment with a magnificent view on Paris ! Thanks Wladimir.
We were absolutely wowed by our experiencing with Wlad and his roommate Fred. This was definitely our best experience with Airbnb and we would recommend staying with Wlad to anyone. Wlad is a very gracious host who made us feel right at home. Upon our arrival and throughout the course of our stay he continued to provide great recommendations about the city (completely fluent in English) and always excelled at the small touches throughout the stay which made each day feel very special (fresh picked strawberries from the balcony, hand written directions for the subway stations, champagne when we walked in on the middle of a dinner party, special breakfast on our last day). The accommodations are first rate as well and it is very rare that the pictures don't do the space justice. Wlad was also very gracious in giving us full access to his beautiful kitchen with postcard views overlooking the Eiffel tower. We loved enjoying our fresh croissant and orange juice every morning taking in the view.
In the end, it was Wlad and Fred that made our experience fantastic and we would highly recommend staying with them to anyone. We will be returning ourselves.
