  • In fact we stayed in the orange apartment not the blue one, but Emmanuele took us out for a pizza to apologise for the switch. Nice little apartment well located for the historical centre. Hot water etc was good, initially the flat was a little cold/felt damp but with the heaters on and as the weather improved it was fine. Keep in mind the bathroom is only separated from the bedroom by a thin sliding door. Nice touches like fresh oranges and lemons left for us and Emmanuale was very helpful and friendly.

  • We have a very pleasant stay at Emanuele s place. A good spot in Trapany so typical , 5 min away from the center. Don t hesitate to ask Emanuele some tips about Sicily , he find us a good spot to learn kiteboarding

  • We were travelling in a company of 2 couples and therefore booked 2 flats from Emanuele - MARE and SOLE in the same building. It was perfect - we lived separetely, but together.
The flat is well located - close (5 min walking) to the harbor where the boats for Egadi islands stop, just next to the main street with the nice restaurants.
The flat is clean and cozy, but the air inside is not very fresh. Also the neighbourhoud is a bit loud - every night some lady was talking very loudly by phone and every morning (around 4 am) we heard someone leaving for work on scooters (probably fishermen).
Emanuele was a nice host - we met for check-in in his office which is 5 mins by walking from the flat and then he took us to the flat and explained everything.
All in all, I believe that this flat is worth its price and quite ok for a short stay in Trapani!

P.S. Important note - don't forget to check whether the boiler for hot water in the bathroom is on, otherwise you'll wake up after the first night with no hot water to use in the morning

  • Our stay at the "Mare" apartment was brief but flawless. Emanuele waited for me and gave me lots of tips about what to do and see in Trapani on my first day, he was extremely helpful and flexible. He even left soem cold water in the fridge and a simple snack for breakfast.

The apartment is small but very well decorated. Location is fantastic as you can be in Trapani's main street in less than 5 minutes on foot. The neighbours can be a bit noisy, but only during the day.

Thanks Emanuele for being a great host!

  • My girlfriend and I had a fantastic holiday in Trapani. Emanuele's apartment is located right in the middle of the old town, with great access to the beach, local shops and the bus station. Owing to the late arrival time of our flight, Emanuele offered to pick us up from the airport for 10 euros cheaper than the rate offered by local taxi companies. He gave us a driving tour of the town, before helping us settle in and find a good local restaurant. He helped with our every request and even left a cold beer in the fridge! I cannot recommend his service more highly.

  • We had a very good experience at Emanuele's blue apartment. Indeed, it is very blue - everything in the house is matched color-wise so it looks very cute and peaceful. It's plenty of room for two people, the kitchen and bathroom are very comfortable and Emanuele leaves you some spaghetti and sauce to cook for yourself in the house. The room can be a bit dark, but that is what you can expect from nearly all houses built in the city centre as the buildings are tightly packed next to each other. But you are indeed in the heart of the city, 5 minutes walk from the main bus stop where you can get a bus to San Vito and also a ferry ride to Favignana, so the location is great. You can also get fresh food around the corner, just across the road are many shops with ham, cheese, vegetables, fruits, bread and fish, very tasty and for a fantastic price.

Emanuele and his son Massimo are very friendly and helpful, they have a shop nearby where you can rent bicycles and use internet/print documents and they gave us a very good deal. Massimo also picked me up at the airport for a reasonable price late in the evening when we were afraid to miss the last bus.

Overall, we recommend staying with Emanuele, it was a very positive first experience in Sicily.
