A peaceful getaway near Medina Lake! Our 5 bedroom, 3000 sf+ house is only a 5 min drive to 2 boat launches on Medina Lake w/room to park a boat trailer! Enjoy 55+ acres of rugged terrain to hike or explore on foot during the day & in evening enjoy a campfire or the view of the bright stars from the dark night sky! Enjoy dinner from our patio overlooking Medina Lake Dam. Our Ranch house has everything you will need except groceries! A fully stocked kitchen, just bring your groceries!

The space
Our Ranch house is located behind 2 automatic gates (we have livestock) and features 5 full bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and 2 living areas. All 5 beds have new mattresses!! Plenty of room for the entire family or share it with another family! Plenty of parking and yard to play in!

The kitchen is an open layout and is open to the family room. We have 6 high bar stools and a table that seats 4+ chairs. The main family room features a 2 couches and sofa chair along with an oversized flat screen TV with dvd player and Dish Network. The second family room has another smart TV plus a sleeper sofa and a 2 chairs. This TV has a Xbox 360 so bring your games! Our covered back patio faces Medina Lake and gives a wonderful view of the full lake and dam! We have a charcoal BBQ grill (please bring your own charcoal) and a second refrigerator on the back patio available to use as well. The back patio has a 6 chair outdoor table, 4 chair outdoor table, firepit with 4 Adirondack style chairs and miscellaneous other chairs.
Our kitchen is stocked with a oven/stove, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, dishes etc. We have a fullsize coffee maker with filters and coffee for you to use. Our kitchen sink features a reverse osmosis filter! The kitchen also has a dishwasher and dish soap. Just bring your food!

The laundry room features a fullsize washer and dryer to use during your stay, please bring your own laundry soap.

We do not have lake access but we are only a short 5 minute drive to Red’s Cove or Joe’s Marina for boat launch. Looking to rent kayaks or learn to Water Ski or Wake Board? Wallys Watersports is a great place to rent them or take a lesson and has a private dock for your enjoyment during your rental. Book early as Wallys' books up.

Pet Policy: while we do love furry animals, we just finished a complete remodel and ask for your help in keeping it new. If your interested in bringing your pet, please inquire about our other 2 smaller houses.

Sunset Ranch is located 20 mins from San Antonio (Loop 1604/HWY151) or Castroville on the Southwest side of Medina Lake. We are only a short 4 minute drive to Joe's Place or Reds Cove, both which offer public access (fee) to Medina Lake. Interested in renting kayaks or waterski lessons? Wallys Watersports is just 5 mins. away. 30 mins to Cowboy Capital of the world, Bandera. Come enjoy a country get away or a weekend on the lake! We do not have lake access from this property, but we are located just 5 mins from Joe's Place & Red's Cove. We are also a short 5 minute drive from Ember Ranch Wedding Venue on Medina Lake.
