Great energy and very peaceful! Feel free to message me with any questions!
Gaby is a really great host. The apartment is big, clean and are in a safety place. If I come back to NY a I will stay with Gaby again.
Sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Kommunikation war jederzeit schnell und aussagekräftig. Alles hat gut gepasst. Danke
It was really nice and as expected on the pictures. It took me approx 10min and 3$ to downtown... I can really recommend to stay in Jersey if you want to spend few days for side seeing.
Thank you for the stay! ;)
Gaby is amazing and this room is in a perfect location for someone wanting to experience NYC on a budget. I was there working in Hackensack and Gaby helped me navigate the very easy NJ transit system as well as get into the city. Great skyline views only a few blocks away. Very safe. I'm a runner and found some great places to run with skyline views. Only down side is you share the apartment with other renters ( but this might be a good thing, depending on how you look at it). And the apt is very noisy, cute but very loud family above. They go to bed early though, by 10pm or so, and I'm a very light sleeper and didn't wake up to anyone after that time. Also beds not great, but overall great experience and Gaby is the best, most kind host.
Everything went in the right way, also there was problem with the keys at first.
But it was solved quickly and thats what matters.
The apartment was as described and we didn't miss anything.
We stayed 3 days on Gaby and Robert's Apartament, If is your first time in New Jersey and you take the bus and can be tricky to get to her house, which would be the first obligated stop in order to get access to the apartment, but after you have the key, you will reach to a really really nice apartment, with an appearance of a 4 o 5 stars hotel, with a charming sunset and sunrise on the balcony window, the apartment is a little noisy because of the gypson floor and walls but nothing to be worried, I slept really good and the bed is really confortable, Gaby left all the instructions on the Fridge clear enough for you to have no need to calling her.
If you buy the tickets and the Port Authority Bus Terminal you can go to Manhattan in the 123 bus that stop just one block away from the apartment. There are nice and delicious Restaurants near with Hispanic and Chinese food, the neighboorhood is quiet and amazingly beutiful.
If you have heavy luggage or more than 2 bags be aware that the stairs are a little long but definetly worth the climb.
We had no problem getting to or going back from Manhattan, we waited for the bus at the Port Authority Terminal with no issues, take note that after 9:00 p.m. the 123 bus depart from 303 gate and not from 202.
When the machine ask you if you need a 2 o r 3 route ticket put 2, and buy it one way because the round trip are not taken serious by the bus driver, buy several tickets and you will be just fine.
This was my first time. The room and the apartment were as expected, actually i think it went a little beyond. The rooms were very very very clean and so was rest of the apartment. Robert was very helpful in guiding me to a proper parking space. Only thing i would recommend (and I might have not looked hard enough) would be an ironing board as I am traveling for business most of the time. Overall I would love to come back and stay again. Thanks for making my first aribnb experience pleasant
A very nice appartment with a large shared living room with flat TV, kitchen with spacious fridge. Nice view from the balcony. Everything is very clean. Gaby was extremely friendly and very helpful. The bus connection from the reservoir bus station to Port Authority Bus Terminal is fast. We found the appartment a perfect location for our first trip to New York - thanks a lot!
I had a nice stay with Gaby. She is very helpful, de apartment is nicely situated if you want to stay outside manhattan. I hired in bike and travelled from the apartment by ferry which proved to be the best way to move around.
The apartment was nice, but it was a surprise for me that I not only need to share the kitchen (as listed), but actually the whole apparent including living room and bathroom. This was not clear for me beforehand, so this was a surprise.
But if you don't mind living together with strangers, this is a cost effective and nice place to stay.
